H BMW συμπληρώνει τη συλλογή των ποδηλάτων της για την άνοιξη του 2015, με την παρουσίαση της περιορισμένης ειδικής έκδοσης Cruise M-Bike, που είναι αφιερωμένη στα αυτοκίνητα BMW M. Το ποδήλατο είναι βαμμένο στο χαρακτηριστικό Austin Yellow της BMW M GmbH, που φοράει η M4, και θα βγει στη παραγωγή σε μόλις 500 μονάδες. Κάθε ένα θα έρχεται με μια ειδική που θα αναγράφει το νούμερο, καθώς και με ένα πιστοποιητικό.
Το BMW Cruise M-Bike ξεχωρίζει για το μοντέρνο σχεδιασμό του και την ελαφριά κατασκευή, ενώ διαθέτει το λεγόμενο “Bullneck” στην κορυφή του σωλήνα στο μπροστινό πλαίσιο, το οποίο είχε δανειστεί από το σχεδιασμό των μηχανών της εταιρίας και θυμίζει τη θέση της δεξαμενής. Το υδρο-διαμορφωμένο πλαίσιο είναι από αλουμίνιο, ενώ διαθέτει και μέρη από carbon, καθιστώντας το ελαφρύ και σταθερό. Παρά το μικρό του βάρος, το πλαίσιο είναι πολύ άκαμπτη, το οποίο εξασφαλίζει τη μέγιστη μετάδοση ισχύος με τη μικρότερη δυνατή προσπάθεια. Η εργονομική θέση του τιμονιού, το οποίο είναι αυτόνομο, επιτρέπει την άνετη οδήγηση, ενώ τα υδραυλικά δισκόφρενα είναι της Shimano.

Munich. BMW is complimenting its bicycle collection in spring 2015 with the presentation of a colorful tribute to the BMW M automobiles: a limited special edition BMW Cruise M-Bike. The characteristic Austin Yellow Metallic of the BMW M GmbH was adapted for this edition, which has been limited to 500 exemplars. Each model of the limited edition comes with a specially made plaque and a certificate.
The BMW Cruise M-Bike stands out with its modern design and lightweight construction elements. An optical highlight is the so-called “Bullneck” on the top tube in the front frame, which was borrowed from motorcycle design and is reminiscent of the tank position. Its hydro-formed aluminum frame and carbon components make the BMW Cruise M-Bike both light and stable. Despite its low weight, the frame is very rigid, which ensures maximum power transmission at the lowest possible effort. The ergonomic handlebar concept, which is individually adjustable, allows for a comfortable ride, while the hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano guarantee a safe arrival.
