H Chevrolet έφερε στο Παρίσι τα ελαφρώς ανανεωμένα Spark και Orlando. Το μικρό αυτοκίνητο της Chevrolet απέκτησε νέο μπροστά προφυλακτήρα, νέα γρίλια, νέα φωτιστικά σώματα, νέο πίσω φως φρένων, αεροτομή και νέες ζάντες αλουμινίου διαθέσιμες σε 14″ και 15″. Στο εσωτερικό, βλέπουμε να έχουν χρησιμοποιηθεί καλύτερης ποιότητας υλικά και υπάρχει νέα κεντρική κονσόλα και νέοι αποθηκευτικοί χώροι για μικροπράγματα.
Μηχανικά, οι κινητήρες που φοράει αποτελούνται από έναν 1.0-λίτρου με 69 άλογα και έναν 1.2-λίτρων με 83 άλογα απόδοση. Και οι δυο έχουν μέση κατανάλωση στα 5 λίτρα/100χλμ και με τις εκπομπές ρύπων CO2 στα 118 γρ/χλμ.
Παράλληλα, στο Orlando τοποθέτησε ένα νέο κινητήρα βενζίνης, τον 1.400 turbo απόδοσης 142 ίππων και 200 Nm ροπής που δίνει τη δυνατότητα στο μικρό MPV να επιταχύνει από τα 0-100 σε 11 δευτ και η τελική του ταχύτητα να είναι στα 200 χλμ/ώρα. Διαθέτει σύστημα Start/Stop και συνδυάζεται με ένα 6-τάχυτο μηχανικό κιβώτιο έχοντας μέση κατανάλωση 6,2-λίτρα/100 χλμ.

There are plenty of reasons for Chevrolet to be excited at the Paris motor show 2012 besides its world premiere, the Trax small SUV. With a total of 10 new entries launched in just 18 months since early 2011, the iconic American brand has a lot to offer to European customers.
“Whether you are looking for a compact and versatile station wagon, a stylish midsized sedan, a family vehicle that is as safe as its interior is flexible, or for a practical mini-car, Chevrolet has it all,” said Susan Docherty, President and Managing Director of Chevrolet Europe.
As the brand continues to roll out new products, its established portfolio of passenger cars is benefitting from enhancements that will increase the value buyers get for their money.
Spark up your life
From the outset, Spark was built to be edgy and expressive, challenging the notion that little cars are either trendy or practical, either premium or good value. Spark is as much about fun and fashion is it is about functionality. Its revitalized appearance takes this philosophy a step further.
A redesigned dual-port grille and front bumper as well as restyled head lamp covers and fog lamps combine to give Spark a fresh new face. Spark also features redesigned 14 and 15-inch alloy wheels that accentuate its sportier, more grown-up stance. At the rear, the center high-mounted LED stop lamp has been integrated into the spoiler above the window, resulting in improved rear visibility for the driver.
Modifications carried out inside include new decor elements as well as a remodeled center console with enhanced storage. The Chevrolet Spark is powered by a 1.0L 68-hp or 1.2L 82-hp gasoline engine. Both engines require 5 liters per 100 km on a combined cycle, while CO2 emissions average 118 g per km.
Orlando goes turbo
The Euro NCAP five-star rated Orlando combines seven-seater practicality, fuel efficiency and interior flexibility with a dynamic crossover-style design, making it a true family car for the times.
Buyers of the 2013 model year Orlando will appreciate the punch of a 1.4L turbo gasoline engine which will complement the 1.8L gasoline and 2.0L diesel engines already on offer. This new engine has a power output of 140 hp (103 kW) , delivers a maximum torque of 200 Nm at 1,850~4,900 rpm, and enables Orlando to hit 100 km/h in 11 s. Top speed is 200 km/h.
The engine comes with standard Start/Stop functionality and a six-speed manual transmission. Average fuel consumption is 6.2 liters/100 km on a combined cycle.
Thanks to the addition of Electric Power Steering (EPS) and Start/Stop functionality, the two proven variants of Orlando’s 2.0L diesel engine will become more fuel-efficient in a number of markets, with fuel savings of up to 11 percent on a combined cycle.
Further features that are a novelty on the 2013 model year Orlando include an available rear view camera and a front passenger seat that can be folded flat. Mid and upper trim variants will feature privacy glass from the B-pillar rearward.
Cruze: All good things come in threes
With the arrival of the Cruze station wagon at dealer showrooms across Europe, Chevrolet is offering a compact car that will particularly appeal to families and individuals with an active lifestyle. The station wagon, which complements the popular sedan and hatchback variants, is capable of accommodating up to 1,478 liters in its load space.
Upper trims are equipped with Chevrolet MyLink, a new infotainment system that aggregates content from smartphones onto the seven-inch diagonal, high-resolution, full-color touch-screen display. A dedicated navigation app will become available early next year.
The powertrain offer comprises a 1.4L turbo gasoline and a 1.7L diesel as well as an upgraded 2.0L diesel engine, in addition to the nameplate’s proven 1.6L and 1.8L gasoline engines. The 1.7L diesel is the most frugal of Cruze’s engines, requiring just 4.5L/100 km.
Diesel power for Malibu
Malibu is Chevrolet’s new flagship in Europe and stands out through its American style, roominess and five-star EuroNCAP safety. A diesel-powered variant of this midsized sedan can now be purchased at European dealerships.
This reliable and powerful engine features high-pressure common rail fuel injection, a dual overhead camshaft, and an advanced variable geometry turbocharger with intercooler. It delivers a maximum output of 160 hp at 4,000 rpm, and 350 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. Zero to 100 km/h is 9.75 s for the manual transmission variant, with a top speed of 213 km/h. Reflecting buyer preferences, both the 2.0L diesel and the 2.4L gasoline engine are available with an automatic transmission.
