Στις αρχές του μήνα είχαμε δει το ολοκαίνουριο pickup της Fiat, μέσα από την γραμμή παραγωγής. Τώρα όμως, ήρθε η ώρα για κάτι πιο επίσημο, αφού στο επίσημο site της Fiat Βραζιλίας, ανέβηκε η πρώτη επίσημη φωτογραφία του Toro αλλά και τα τεχνικά χαρακτηριστικά του.
Το Toro έχει μήκος 4.915 mm και μπορεί να μεταφέρει φορτίο βάρους 1 τόνου καθώς και 5 επιβάτες “με την άνεση ενός πολυτελούς οχήματος”. Το διπλοκάμπινο pickup βασίζεται κατά στη πλατφόρμα που χρησιμοποιούν και τα Fiat 500L, 500X και Jeep Renegade και κίνηση παίρνει από τον 1800άρη e-Torq Flex κινητήρα απόδοσης 138 ίππων που συνδυάζεται με ένα 6άρι αυτόματο κιβώτιο που στέλνει τη κίνηση στον μπροστά άξονα. Διαθέσιμος είναι και ένας 2.0-λιτρος Mutlijet turbodiesel με 170 άλογα που μπορεί να συνδυαστεί είτε με ένα εξατάχυτο μηχανικό κιβώτιο, όσο και με ένα 9άρι αυτόματο. Με το πρώτο η κίνηση μεταφέρεται είτε στον μπροστά, είτε και στους δύο άξονες, ενώ με το δεύτερο, το Toro είναι αποκλειστικά τετρακίνητο.
