Η Ευρώπη μπορεί να είναι σε κρίση, αλλά η BMW, εξετάζοντας καλά τα στοιχεία πωλήσεων του πρώτου εξαμήνου, πιστεύει ότι το 2012 θα είναι ακόμη μια χρονιά ρεκόρ γι’αυτη. Σημαντικό ρόλο σε αυτό θα συμβάλουν τα νέα μοντέλα που παρουσίασε φέτος και ιδιαίτερα η νέα Σειρά 3 αλλά και η Σειρά 1. Από την αρχή του έτους έχει πουλήσει 747.064 αυτοκίνητα +8.3% με τις αγορές της Κίνας και της Αμερικής να παρουσιάζουν αύξηση κατά 30.7% και 10.5% αντίστοιχα.


Το 2011 ήταν χρονιά ρεκόρ για την BMW, τόσο από πλευράς πωλήσεων όσο και από πλευράς εσόδων. Οι συνολικές πωλήσεις του BMW Group ανήλθαν σε 1.67 εκατ. αυτοκίνητα + 14.2% σε σχέση με το 2010. Τα έσοδα ανήλθαν σε 68.8 εκατ. ευρώ (+13.8%) με τα κέρδη προ φόρων να αυξήθηκαν σε 52.1% σε 7.38 εκατ. ευρώ. Σε ότι αφορά τις πωλήσεις της κάθε φίρμας. Η BMW πούλησε 1.380.384 μονάδες το 2011 (+12.8%), η Mini 285.060 μονάδες (+21.7%) ενώ η Rolls Royce πούλησε 3.538 αυτοκίνητα (+30.5%). Για το 2012, ο Ian Robertson, επικεφαλής παγκόσμιου marketing της BMW δήλωσε ότι θα είναι καλύτερο από το 2011 τόσο σε ότι αφορά τις πωλήσεις όσο και τα καθαρά έσοδα.

Η Porsche από τη μεριά της είδε τις πωλήσεις της να αυξάνονται κατά 14% τους πρώτους 6 μήνες του έτους αφού πούλησε 69.171 αυτοκίνητα, ενώ μόνο τον Ιούνιο πούλησε 12.699 αυτοκίνητα (+18.9%).

Τέλος και η Chevrolet ανακοίνωσε και αυτή με τη σειρά της, τα στοιχεία πωλήσεων των αυτοκινήτων της στην Ευρώπη για τους πρώτους έξι μήνες, όπου είδε αύξηση 10.9%, σε σχέση με πέρυσι, αφού πούλησε συνολικά 117.500 αυτοκίνητα. Porsche delivers 14 percent more sports cars worldwide in first six months

Stuttgart. The Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG can look back on a successful first half of 2012: With 69,171 vehicles sold in the first six months, the sports car manufacturer increased its customer deliveries by 14.0 percent compared to the same period last year. In June, Porsche sold a total of 12,699 new cars (up 18.9%).

Bernhard Maier, Member of the Executive Board Sales and Marketing of Porsche AG, says: “Porsche successfully continued on its growth path in the first half of the year. However, we cannot separate ourselves from the economy as a whole. With regard to the European Economic in particular, we will continue to monitor developments closely and respond quickly if necessary. Nevertheless, we are currently planning for double-digit growth in 2012.”

Porsche reported gains in all important sales regions in the first six months of 2012. With 26,024 customer deliveries, Europe posted an increase of 19.7% compared to the period from January to June 2011. Of this number, 9,536 vehicles were sold in the German domestic market (up 20.8%). In the Asia Pacific region, the number of units sold increased 17.0 percent to 23,948 sports cars. By now the second most important Porsche market, China reported 15,274 new cars delivered, a year-on-year increase of 24.5%.

Deliveries of the 911 series reflect the success of the seventh generation of the iconic sports car: The figure of 14,338 Porsche 911s sold represents 27.9% growth. The Panamera contributed significantly to successful performance with 15,601 models shipped, an increase of 25.3%. The most successful model series in the first six months of the current fiscal year was the Cayenne: 34,727 vehicles were sold, contributing to an increase of 15.5% compared to the first six months of last year.

CHEVROLET SALES UP 10.9 PERCENT DESPITE TROUBLED EUROPEAN ECONOMY

  • European sales up in 19 countries in first half of 2012
  • Record European half-year market share at 1.43 percent

Zurich. With more than 117,500[1] cars sold in the first six months of this year, which represents an increase of 10.9 percent, Chevrolet recorded its best-ever volume and market share in Western and Central Europe[2]. Industry sales were down by 7.7 percent during the same period. Chevrolet Europe’s volume was up 11,500 vehicles, compared to the first six months of 2011, while market share was up 0.24 points at a record 1.43 percent. In Western Europe, Chevrolet sales were up 12 percent at 92,400 cars and SUVs.

“In the current economic climate, European customers are more value-conscious than ever. They are turning to Chevrolet in record numbers because we are giving them what they need: distinctive design and all the equipment they are looking for at a price they can afford. In short, a lot of car for their money,” said Susan Docherty, President of Chevrolet Europe.

In the first half of 2012, Chevrolet sales were up in 19 countries and enjoyed particularly strong growth in the following countries (sorted by increase in units):

Chevrolet recorded its best-ever market share, for the January to June period, in the following eight countries: Poland (3.70%), Turkey (2.78%), The Netherlands (2.09%), Estonia (1.78%), Austria (1.25%), France (1.17%), Belgium (0.94%) and Germany (0.90%).

Chevrolet’s best-selling vehicle in Europe in the first six months of 2012 was the Chevrolet Aveo city car, with sales of 34,310 units. Aveo was followed by the Chevrolet Spark mini car of which 32,010 units were sold. Chevrolet sold 21,000 Cruzes (sedan and hatchback) in Western and Central Europe. Cruze continues to be Chevrolet’s best-selling model globally and sales are expected to grow even further as the station wagon will hit European showrooms later this summer. Chevrolet sold 14,300 Orlando minivans and 13,820 Captiva SUVs. The diesel version of the Malibu mid-size sedan will also arrive at dealerships later this summer.
