H DMC παρουσίασε μια νέα αεροτομή για την Gallardo η οποία είναι παρόμοια με αυτή της Murcielago LP670-4 SV. Η αεροτομή έχει δημιουργηθεί για έναν ανώνυμο Κινέζο ιδιοκτήτη, ο οποίος αρχικά ζήτησε να του την κατασκευάσει η ίδια η Lamborghini. Η Ιταλική αυτοκινητοβιομηχανία αρνήθηκε και έτσι ο Κινέζος απευθύνθηκε στους Γερμανούς της DMC. Αυτοί την δημιούργησαν και επειδή το αποτέλεσμα ήταν άκρως εντυπωσιακό, αποφάσισαν να την βγάλουνε κανονικά στη παραγωγή.

DMC Gallardo SV: Styling for the Lamborghini LP560 and LP540
The Lamborghini LP670 truly was one of Lamborghini’s most significant designs in the past century, and still is an eye-catcher whereever it shows up. One of the strongest details of the stying package proofed to be the wing on the rear, sitting literally on the edge.
One Chinese customer approached the car manufacturer in order to get a the original SV wing installed on his LP560 Gallardo, but was denied, even though money was reportedly not the problem. Rather disappointed and upset, he did not choose to smash his Gallardo as other clients in China did, but approached DMC Germany for a custom solution.
The German tuner liked the idea, even though they said they would not make a complete package. But engineering a wing, in the famous Super Veloce style, was a challenge that they took on, and so the project was accepted. Introducing the Gallardo “SV” rear spoiler, a custom wing that was tailor developed for a Chinese customer, sitting majestically on the Gallardo’s rear edge. Instead of just making the original SV legs fit the Gallardo, the whole wing was reengineered in order to suit the Gallardo’s size and aerodynamic requirements. The result may split fans into haters and lovers, but it undeniably is something unique.
The product is available and ships now, on special requests, from DMC Germany. It won’t be part of an official package we were told, due to the special nature of the SV + Gallardo combination, but if that’s your kind’a thing, go and get it now.
