Στο Los Angeles η Volkswagen παρουσίασε την έκδοση παραγωγής του Jetta Hybrid, και τώρα ανακοίνωσε ότι ξενικά να δέχεται παραγγελίες.
Μηχανικά το υβριδικό Jetta φορά τον 1.400αρη TSI απόδοσης 150 ίππων με 249 Nm ροπής, ο οποίος συνδυάζεται με έναν ηλεκτροκινητήρα 20 kW (27 ίππων). Συνολικά αποδίδει 170 άλογα με τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα να τα κάνει σε λιγότερο από 9 δευτερόλεπτα με μέση κατανάλωση 4,1 λίτρα/100 χλμ.
Ζυγίζει 100 κιλά περισσότερα σε σχέση με την “απλή” έκδοση φτάνοντας πλέον τα 1.500 κιλά και συνδυάζεται με το 7-τάχυτο αυτόματο κιβώτιο διπλού συμπλέκτη DSG και μπορεί να κινηθεί αποκλειστικά με τον ηλεκτροκινητήρα για 2 χλμ με μέγιστη ταχύτητα 71 χλμ/ώρα.
Οι πρώτες παραδώσεις θα γίνουν από τον Απρίλιο του 2013 και στη Γερμανία έχει αρχική τιμή 31.300 ευρώ.

New Jetta Hybrid can be ordered now
Sporty hybrid consumes just 4.1 l/100 km
Wolfsburg, 06 December 2012 – Today, Volkswagen is beginning to take advance orders for the new Jetta Hybrid in Germany. The saloon is one of the most successful Volkswagen model series; in the USA, the Jetta is even the bestselling model of all German carmakers. The new Jetta Hybrid makes its debut as a model that relies on a powerful alliance of a TSI turbocharged petrol direct-injection engine (110 kW / 150 PS) and an electric motor (20 kW / 27 PS). The turbo hybrid’s system power of 125 kW / 170 PS enables impressive driving performance. Nonetheless, the new Jetta Hybrid attains a low fuel consumption value of just 4.1 litres per 100 km (equivalent to 95 g/km CO2).
This means that the 210 km/h saloon consumes about 20 per cent less fuel than a conventional vehicle of comparable size and power. At the press of a button, the Jetta Hybrid can cover a distance of up to 2 km in all-electric driving. In addition, the hybrid system automatically switches to the zero emissions electric mode whenever possible; an energy flow indicator informs the driver of the system’s momentary status. Power flows to the front axle via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
The Jetta Hybrid is offered in the two equipment versions Comfortline and Highline. Both models can be recognised by specific hybrid features. Other identifying exterior elements of the Jetta Hybrid Comfortline are an independent radiator grille, LED tail lights and badges with blue backgrounds, as well as special side sills, a rear roof spoiler, modified rear bumper and 15-inch alloy wheels (“Lexington”) in hybrid-specific design.
In the interior, the hybrid design is expressed in customised accents and decor strips as well as specially developed seat upholstery. Other standard features include the RCD 510 Radio-CD system with digital radio reception (DAB+) and energy flow indicator, multifunction display “Plus”, a leather-trimmed multifunction steering wheel, automatic climate control and the ParkPilot parking assistant.
Additional standard features in the Jetta Hybrid Highline include bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, fog lights, 17-inch alloy wheels (“Buenos Aires”), “Premium” multifunctional display and the winter package.
The new Jetta Hybrid will be offered from mid of April 2013 and the prices starting at 31,300 euros (Germany).
