Santoniri Black RS 600 Kahn Cosworth Range Rover
London/England, April, 2013 – Staying true to his philosophy of combining mechanical perfection and exterior beauty, Afzal Kahn’s formula of club-class quality and high-tech engineering places his latest project somewhere near the top of the premium SUV pile.
Featuring a seductive mix of santorini black metallic livery and an invigorating boost in power courtesy of Cosworth ensures a very rapid and individual 4×4 that can achieve an amazing 0-60mph in just 4.5 seconds. No doubt this 5.0 supercharged HSE model offers drivers a great deal of motoring supremacy.
Edge-bound in bespoke composite, every detail of this car, harks back to the pioneering spirit of the British motoring industry.
On the outside, it looks immaculate with the Range Rover’s elongated silhouette immediately recognisable with an outstanding RS600 styling package consisting of RS vented front and rear wheel arches with integrated rear air dams (3 pieces), an extended front lower lip spoiler, Satin Black bonnet and roof stripe, RS front grille with 3D mesh, front wheel arch LED light strips, exterior Kahn enamel wing shields, Kahn enamel tailgate logo, Exhausts side vents (pair) and door handles in body colour.
It not only looks sharper, but is quicker too. Cosworth has been tinkering under the bonnet and the vehicle is certainly not short of power. The engine enhancements consist of an arrangement of alterations to the supercharger and ECU programming, and this ensures a boost in power from 500 to 545bhp. It’s the changes to the torque that have the greatest effect though, with the ‘600’ figure in the badge relating to the 600lb.ft of torque on offer.
And it is this enhancement of the torque that ensures a sportier and more intense driving experience – serving to coax greater performance from the car. And this gives noticeably more precise control of the wheels and the car as a whole. With improved interaction between the tyres and the intelligent all-wheel drive system, the RS600 Cosworth offers perfect handling.
Inside is the ‘bespoke touch’, this particular vehicle comes with a Vesuvius Orange Rev Counter, Interior facia trim (8 pieces), front and rear bespoke seats, floor mats, quilted centre glove box, vented foot pedals in machined aluminum, and rear tailgate centre trim in 3D Carbon finish.
The company philosophy is to always give the customer what they want, so Afzal Kahn could for example, design you a vehicle with a full colour change (to a colour of your choice) and an interior akin to, let’s say your favourite leather reclining chair in your living room. Customers could also change the colour of the clock, or indeed, ask for anything else.
Kahn wheels sit perfectly on any vehicle, conveying the essence of the vehicle’s identity. Created using state-of-the art manufacturing and materials technology, the 9 x 22 (front) 10 x 22 (rear) RS wheels fit all original centre caps.
With simple clean lines, soft organic surfaces on the edge of the spoke and a purposeful mechanical centre, the RS600 wheels are synonymous with elegance and innovation.
