Ο γερμανικός οίκος VÄTH βελτίωσε μια Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 και μας την παρουσιάζει. Ο 2,0-λιτρος turbo κινητήρας βενζίνης μπορεί να αποδίδει έως 265 άλογα με 420 Nm ροπής, αφού ο οίκος έχει ετοιμάσει για την CLA το V25 kit, το οποίο περιλαμβάνει σπορ εξάτμιση, ελεύθερη εισαγωγή αέρα και επαναπρογραμματισμένη ECU. Τα 265 άλογα επιτρέπουν στο αυτοκίνητο να κάνει τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα σε 5,9 δευτερόλεπτα με την τελική ταχύτητα να περιορίζεται ηλεκτρονικά στα 250 χλμ/ώρα.

Από στιλιστικής άποψης, οι Γερμανοί τοποθέτησαν στο εξωτερικό ζάντες 20″, carbon μπροστά spoiler και χαμηλότερες αναρτήσεις κατά 65 mm, ενώ στο εσωτερικό υπάρχει η δυνατότητα η CLA να φορέσει σπορ δερμάτινο τιμόνι, μαύρα βελούδινα πατάκια, carbon και ξύλινα διακοσμητικά με το κοντέρ να αποκτά ένδειξη που να φτάνει έως τα 300 χλμ/ώρα.

The consequent continuation of the revolutionary new Mercedes-Benz A-class culminates in a four-door coupé within the also newly defined CLA-class on the highly competitive compact car market. The inner and some outer values of the allegedly most streamlined serial vehicle of the world, named CLA 250, with 0,23 cw, has been absolutely perfectly optimized by the renowned VAETH Automobiltechnik from Hoesbach, Germany, as in fields of engine technology, so also in aerodynamics.

Firstly, VAETH in an obligatory manner submit the „A-class-layer with notchback“ a comprehensive power enhancement. By means of an individual engine electronics fine tuning named V25, a VAETH own sports exhausting system including down pipe and a specially developed air filter system for all in all 4.950.40 EUR, the CLA now boosts hot 265 PS with 420 Nm of torque. The acceleration from 0 to 100 mph, the CLA 250 makes now within 5.9 seconds with max. speed of 150 mph/250 kmph. VAETH offers a some moderate version with pure fine tuning of the engine electronics up to 245 PS and 390 Nm of torque for 940.10 EUR.

The installed by VAETH axle back exhaust, made of stainless steel, with each time one high polish finished oval tail pipe, dimensioned 110 x 90 mm, warrants for the among experts estimated sonorous sound set. This optical and acoustical upgrading demands 1.249.50 Euro of additional investments.

The installed club sports coilovers allow a suspension lowering from 20 to 65 millimeters. The hardness of the shock absorbers, that are suitable for street and racing piste, can be regulated when built in, thus warranting for optimal and safe, but nevertheless comfortable handling. The driving dynamics optimization demands another 3.546.20 Euro. Alternatively, VAETH offers also a less expensive option with a 30 mm lower sport suspension set for 452.20 Euro. With regard to the engine performance characteristics, the braking system has been optimized by steel flex tubes and “Castrol SRF” racing braking fluid, demanding 464,10 Euro including MOT certificate.

The high class forged VAETH three-piece rims are another highlight. The front axle is equipped by 8.0 x 20” rims with tires 225/30 ZR20 for 2.970.24 €, the rear axle – 9.5 x 20” with 265/25 ZR20 tires for 3.027.36 €. (ex. price for tires).

In order to reduce the lifting effect, there has been installed a carbon front spoiler lip for 1.416.10 Euro, lending the car front more sportive and gallant optics. The tail is decorated by a tail spoiler lip, warranting for higher contact pressure for the rear axle, costing 333.20 Euro.

For the interior, VAETH offers a leather/leather sports steering wheel (1.297.10 €), optionally available also with carbon or precious timber application. Furthermore, VAETH offers a speedometer enlargement up to 300 kmph (1.535.10 €) and a wear-resistant foot mat set, made of high quality black velvet, with silver colored VAETH logo (226.10 €).
