Μετά τη χθεσινή διαρροή, η Renault παρουσιάζει σήμερα τη νέα γενιά του Megane που θα κάνει ντεμπούτο στην έκθεση της Φρανκφούρτης την επόμενη εβδομάδα. Η τέταρτη γενιά του Μegane είναι 25 mm πιο χαμηλό από το μοντέλο που αντικαθιστά, με το μπροστά μέρος να έχει αυξηθεί κατά 47 mm και το πίσω κατά 39 mm. Το μεταξόνιο έχει αυξηθεί κατά 28 mm, κάτι που μεταφράζεται σε περισσότερο χώρο για τους πίσω επιβάτες. Βασίζεται στην CMF-CD πλατφόρμα, που χρησιμοποιεί ήδη το Nissan Pulsar, με το μήκος του να ανέρχεται κοντά στα 4,4 μέτρα.
Το μοντέλο έχει πιο “ώριμο” και “upmarket” σχεδιασμό, με το εμπρός μέρος του αυτοκινήτου να φέρνει αρκετά σχεδιαστικά στοιχεία από το νέο Talisman. Διαθέτει LED φωτιστικά σώματα με τα LED φώτα ημέρας να έχουν σχήμα τύπου C, ενώ ο ευμεγέθης προφυλακτήρας δείχνει αρκετά επιθετικός καθώς βλέπουμε την GT έκδοση. Τέλος, στο κέντρο του φωλιάζει το μεγάλο λογότυπο της εταιρίας, ενώ το “γλυπτό” καπό έχει αρκετή κλίση. Ομοίως στο πίσω μέρος, τα φωτιστικά σώματα είναι πρακτικά ίδια με το Talisman, με το συνολικό σώμα του νέου γαλλικού hatchback να δείχνει πολύ μυώδες.
Η Renault ανακοίνωσε πως το νέο Megane θα προσφέρεται και σε GT έκδοση που φορά Renault Sport ζάντες 18″, μπορεί να βαφτεί στο μπλε χρώμα Iron Blue, να έχει διαφορετικό μπροστά προφυλακτήρα με μεγαλύτερες εισαγωγές αέρα με κυψελοειδή διακοσμητικά πλαστικά. Επίσης φέρει Renault Sport σήματα, σκούρα μεταλλικά διακοσμητικά στο μπροστά μέρος και στους πλαϊνούς καθρέπτες, διπλές απολήξεις εξατμίσεων και ψεύτικο διαχύτη.
Στο εσωτερικό του συναντάμε μια οθόνη αφής 7 έως 9 ιντσών, όπως του νέου Espace και Talisman, που αντικαθιστά την πληθώρα των κουμπιών στην κεντρική κονσόλα, ενώ ο πίνακας οργάνων είναι ψηφιακός. Τα υλικά που έχουν χρησιμοποιηθεί είναι καλύτερης ποιότητας, με το στροφόμετρο να είναι τοποθετημένο στο κέντρο του πίνακα οργάνων.
Κίνηση θα παίρνει από μια γκάμα κινητήρων βενζίνης και πετρελαίου, όπου ανάμεσά τους συναντάμε τον 0.9 Tce κινητήρα απόδοσης 90 ίππων, τον 1.2 TCe κινητήρα απόδοσης 130 ίππων με 205 Nm ροπής, τον 1.6 TCe απόδοσης 150 ίππων με 240 Nm ροπής, τον 1,6 TCe απόδοσης 200 ίππων με 260 Nm ροπής στο Megane GT και τον 1.8 Tce απόδοσης 280 ίππων στην κορυφαία έκδοση Megane RS.
Από πλευράς πετρελαιοκινητήρων θα υπάρχει ο 1.5 dCi απόδοσης 95 ίππων με 245 Nm ροπής και 110 ίππων με 260 Nm ροπής, τον 1.6 dCi απόδοσης 130 ίππων με 320 Nm ροπής και με τον 1,6 dCi απόδοσης 160 ίππων με 380 Nm ροπής. Οι κινητήρες θα συνδυάζονται με 6-τάχυτο μηχανικό και με αυτόματο κιβώτιο διπλού συμπλέκτη. Περισσότερες πληροφορίες για το νέο Megane θα μάθουμε την ερχόμενη εβδομάδα, με την wagon έκδοση του να παρουσιάζεται προς τα τέλη του έτους.

A distinctive, dynamic, meticulous design
- 20 years after the launch of Renault Mégane, which sold over 6.5 million units worldwide, Renault is updating its core range and has revealed New Mégane, the fourth car with that name.
- In a highly competitive segment, New Mégane stands out with its dynamic styling and distinctive lighting signature both at the front and at the rear.
- The latest Mégane range is topped by a GT version, which will be available from launch, and whose design is inspired by the genes of Renault Sport.
With its distinctive lighting signature and balanced proportions, New Mégane is first and foremost a Renault. It adopts the brand’s design DNA with broad, sculpted shoulders and a front face incorporating the brand’s new design identity, including a large, vertical logo. As a relative of Renault Talisman, New Mégane boasts a specific lighting signature at the front with, C-shaped headlamps whose surround continues into the bumper. At the rear, the new lighting signature, visible by both day and night, goes right across the car to increase the perceived width of the vehicle. “On the highly competitive market of compact saloons, it was vital that New Mégane should stand out right from the first glance“, says exterior designer Franck Le Gall.
At 25mm lower in front with track 47mm wider in front and 39mm wider at the rear compared to Mégane 3, New Mégane sits squarely on the road. Its proportions are those of a sporty silhouette with a wheelbase 28mm longer and a shorter overhang. Franck goes on: “The precise, taut lines, which draw the whole design towards the front, are part of the side surfaces. In combination with the sculpted shoulders, these lines give New Mégane dynamism and character.”
Chromed elements emphasise the top of the belt line and enhance the grille, the side badges and door handles. The slim creases on the bonnet, combined with the chrome beading and side air scoops, strengthen the character of the front face.
An exclusive GT version, available from launch
New Mégane GT has a front bumper redesigned to express a more sporty personality. It incorporates a broader air intake and the new grill has a honeycomb design.
At the rear, the design of New Mégane GT is underscored by two chromed tailpipes that echo the air scoops further to the front and frame a spoiler inspired by the world of F1. New Mégane GT has a “Renault Sport” badge at the rear, on the wings and in front.
This sports version will be available with new “Iron Blue” paintwork, combined with “Dark Metal” touches at the front and on the body-coloured door mirrors to emphasise its affinity with the world of GT motoring.
New Mégane GT also has 18-inch aluminium wheels developed especially for the model by Renault Sport.
