Το μοντέλο διαθέτει νέο bodykit, LED φώτα στην οροφή, φιμέ παράθυρα, ψηλή ρυθμιζόμενη ανάρτηση και ζάντες 17″ με ελαστικά εκτός δρόμου 32″. Κίνηση παίρνει από έναν 1.600αρη turbo τετρακύλινδρο κινητήρα που φορά νέα εξάτμιση και νέα εισαγωγή αέρα και συνδυάζεται με ένα 6-τάχυτο αυτόματο κιβώτιο διπλού συμπλέκτη, το οποίο και στέλνει τη κίνηση σε όλους τους τροχούς.
Επίσης στην Sema, η Acura θα παρουσιάσει το παλιό Legend του Ludacris. Το μοντέλο του 1993 θα επιδιορθωθεί και θα βελτιωθεί, με τον ράπερ να το χρησιμοποιεί στο εξώφυλλο της νέας του δισκογραφικής δουλειάς.

ROCKSTAR PERFORMANCE GARAGE TURNS 2016 TUCSON INTO A TRUE OFF-ROADER
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Oct. 12, 2015 – Rockstar Performance Garage (RPG), the off-road specialists, have revealed details on its 2016 Tucson SEMA build. This is the first year that Hyundai has teamed up with the off-road gurus at RPG, injecting off-road lifeblood into Hyundai’s popular CUV. The car will be revealed at Hyundai’s SEMA press conference on November 3 at 11:30 a.m. PT, in Las Vegas.
The bumper-to-bumper overhaul started with the most important piece of any serious off-roader: the suspension. The Tucson now sits six inches over stock height, riding on massive, 32-in. MTZ P3 tires from Mickey Thompson, and a fully-custom, adjustable shocks and struts system from King Shocks. The vehicle’s wheel wells were reconstructed to create space for the new setup, now able to fit the massive suspension and tire combination.
Upgraded turbo piping, a high-flow Magnaflow exhaust and a new K&N intake and intercooler from Mishimoto help the engine breathe more freely, providing a performance boost to the Hyundai’s 1.6-liter “Gamma” four-cylinder power plant. Power is delivered to all four wheels through a 6-speed DCT transmission.
“The focus behind this build was to create an off-roader that nobody expected,” said Nic Ashby, owner and general partner, Rockstar Performance Garage. “The Tucson was a great starting platform with its rigid frame and plenty of room in the engine bay for modifications. With the complete suspension overhaul and blacked-out appearance, this Tucson is guaranteed to be a head turner in line with the Rockstar lifestyle.”
Rounding out the exterior visuals, the RPG Tucson has been finished in a black and yellow livery, smoked rear tail lights, a custom LED light bar setup from Bulldog LED Lighting, and custom off road bumpers to help the vehicle shrug off impacts.
The RPG Tucson also comes equipped with Hyundai’s next-generation Blue Link system. Blue Link’s Destination Search Powered by Google™ will help the vehicle get to all its events with ease as it tours the country next year, and all the gear inside will be kept safe using remote lock from the Blue Link mobile app for Apple Watch and Android Wear. The RPG team can also rest easy, knowing that if their Tucson is ever stolen, Blue Link can assist authorities to quickly find and immobilize it.

Acura to Showcase Legendary Performance Heritage and Personalization at 2015 SEMA Show
- Acura to unveil rapper, actor Ludacris’ custom-restored 1993 Legend
- Highly modified 2016 ILX by Galpin Auto Sports will also debut at SEMA during the Acura press conference on Nov. 3
Acura’s 2015 SEMA showcase will be highlighted by a custom-restored 1993 Acura Legend sedan owned by actor and rap artist Ludacris. Stepping up its game from the 2014 SEMA Show – where the performance-oriented Galpin Auto Sports Acura TLX was unveiled – the luxury brand will also feature a wide variety of vehicles showcasing its performance heritage and its products’ customization potential at the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
Following a collision that severely damaged Ludacris’ cherished 1993 Legend, Team Acura set about to artfully restore and modify the vehicle under the guidance of Acura Design Studio in Los Angeles and under the watchful eye of Acura Global Creative Director, Dave Marek. Fans can follow the build progress leading up to SEMA on Acura (@Acura) and Ludacris’ (@Ludacris) social media channels and by using the hashtag #LegendaryDuo.
“Working with a real car guy and a passionate Acura owner like Ludacris has made the processes of bringing his Legend back to its original glory a fun and unique experience,” said Marek. “We wanted to put our own stamp on the Legend while retaining the essence of the original that Ludacris has worked so hard to maintain over the years and we look forward to unveiling the sedan for the first time at the SEMA Show.”
Also making its SEMA debut is a highly modified ILX from Galpin Auto Sports, which is inspired by the Legend rebuild. Both vehicles will be featured at the Acura press conference Nov. 3 at 1:00 p.m. PT and will be joined by the next-generation NSX supercar and a 2016 ILX outfitted with the Genuine Acura Accessory package.
