Ακόμη ένας βελτιωτικός οίκος έπαιξε με την BMW 1-Series M Coupe. Η ATT-TEC έκανε τον 3,0-λιτρο εξακύλινδρο twin-turbo κινητήρας της να αποδίδει 454 άλογα τοποθετώντας εξάτμιση Akrapovic, μεγάλο intercooler και επαναπρογραμματίζοντας της ECU, αφαιρώντας μάλιστα και τον περιοριστή ταχύτητας.
Στιλιστικά της φόρεσε τις ζάντες ADV1 5.0 TF της ADV.1 διαστάσεων 20″ με ελαστικά Michelin Pilot Super Sport διαστάσεων 295/25. Επίσης τοποθέτησε τις KW Dynamic Damping Control coilover αναρτήσεις, οι οποίες μειώνουν το ύψος και προσφέρουν τρία διαφορετικά επίπεδα σκληρότητας, Comfort, Sport και Sport+.
Αργότερα, η εταιρία θα έχει έτοιμα και αρκετά carbon μέρη όπως το μπροστά spoiler, το πορτμπαγκάζ και ο πίσω διαχύτης.

ATT-TEC: Top Quality Tuning for the 1 Series M Coupé
Even though the new BMW 1 series F20 model range is already well established on the roads, it’s the 1 series M coupé, based on the ‘old’ first generation 1 series E82, which still remains the undisputed and unbeaten star of the range – especially in the vehicle tuning industry. ATT-TEC, based in Rastatt, Germany, is now releasing an optimised and individualised 1 series M coupé equipped with innovative high-tech solutions and high-quality tuning parts.
The vehicle is fitted with massive ADV1 5.0 TF light-alloy wheels of sizes 9×20 inch and 11×20 inch. These exclusive three-part wheel rims are individually manufactured for each customer, which allows them to be adjusted to the millimetre to fit each individual vehicle, meaning that distance discs and work on the bodywork are not required. As an alternative to the stepped lip design shown here, ADV 1 wheels are also available in flat designs. Fitted on the wheels are Michelin Pilot Super Sport High Performance tyres of size 245/30ZR20 up front on the leading axle and size 295/25ZR20 at the back on the driving axle. The price for the complete wheel set shown is EUR € 7,760.00 including VAT.
The vehicle’s wheel arches contain what is probably the most advanced chassis technology available on the German market at the moment: the KW DDC (Dynamic Damping Control) coilover kit with ECU (Electronic Control Unit) combines individual lowering function with an electronic damping control system. At the push of a button, the driver can choose between three car-specific damper settings (Comfort, Sport & Sport+). A Wi-Fi module is also available as an optional extra for the DDC ECU chassis system, enabling custom configuration of the damper set-up via a KW DDC app for the iPhone, iPod touch or iPad, including the ability to swap different set-ups via email.
The KW DDC chassis technology system costs EUR € 2,799.00 including VAT. Assembly of the system, including wheel-alignment and set-up, is provided by ATT-TEC for EUR € 449.00.
By simply optimising the motor software, ATT-TEC has enhanced the engine performance of the 1 series from series-standard 336 bhp to 395 bhp. With the installation of a larger intercooler, the vehicle can even reach up to 454 bhp. And thanks to the removal of the electronic Vmax (maximum speed) blocker, the coupé is now free to convert its enhanced performance into forward drive and top speed. The ‘Evolution Line’ titanium exhaust system from Akrapovic makes for an awesome, throaty sound at the press of a button, thanks to its wireless flap control system, and is optionally available with titanium or carbon double exhaust pipe ends. The complete Akrapovic Evolution system, including wireless kit, costs EUR € 5,934.00 including VAT. Assembly costs a further EUR € 369.00.
What’s not installed on the vehicle shown here, but due to be available very shortly, is a range of carbon-fibre parts for the 1 series coupé. Parts scheduled to be available soon include a front spoiler, a rear diffusor, a rear boot lid as well as a range of interior parts, also made of super-light carbon fibre.
