H Mitsubishi στο Los Angeles παρουσίασε τα Outlander και Outlander Sport Limited Edition.
Το Outlander είχε κάνει παγκόσμιο ντεμπούτο τον Σεπτέμβριο στο Παρίσι με την Mitsubishi να το χαρακτηρίζει ως το πιο οικονομικό επταθέσιο CUV της αγοράς, έχοντας αρκετές gadget όπως σύστημα ειδοποίησης αλλαγής λωρίδας, πρόβλεψης πρόσκρουσης και ενεργό cruise control.
Είναι διαθέσιμο σε τρεις εκδόσεις εξοπλισμού ES, SE και GT και κάτω από το καπό φορά 2 κινητήρες. Τον τετρακύλινδρο 2,4-λίτρων απόδοσης 166 ίππων με 219 Nm ροπής και τον 3,0-λιτρο V6 απόδοσης 224 ίππων με 291 Nm ροπής. Ο πρώτος συνδυάζεται με ένα CVT κιβώτιο ενώ ο δεύτερο με ένα 6-τάχυτο αυτόματο. Και τα δύο στέλνουν την κίνηση στον μπροστά άξονα, με το σύστημα τετρακίνησης να βρίσκεται στον επιπλέον εξοπλισμό.
Σε ότι αφορά την Limited Edition για το τωρινό Outlander Sport. Δημιουργήθηκε ώστε να εορταστούν τα τριάντα χρόνια παρουσίας της Mitsubishi στη Βόρειο Αμερική και διαθέτει σκουρόχρωμες χρωμιομένες ζάντες, μαύρους πλαινούς καθρέπτες, μαύρες ράγες οροφής, μαύρη γρίλια και μαύρες λεπτομέρειες στα φτερά. Στο εσωτερικό δίχρωμες γκρι επενδύσεις και μαύρα δερμάτινα καθίσματα.

Mitsubishi designers and engineers have given the 2014 Outlander a fresh new contemporary face that is both appealing and functional with reduced aerodynamic drag.

To commemorate Mitsubishi Motors’ arrival to American shores some 30 years ago, the company has created arguably the most dynamic-looking compact crossover vehicle made available in North America today with the arrival of the 2013 Outlander Sport Limited Edition.
Manufactured at the company’s automobile assembly plant in America’s heartland in Normal, Illinois, the 2013 Outlander Sport Limited Edition makes quite a visual statement with its distinctly ominous look, thanks to its blackout side mirrors, center bumper, wheel arch trim and roof rails, accompanied by special argent Limited Edition alloy wheels.
