Η TIKT στο Essen παρουσίασε μια βελτιωμένη Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series. Την ονόμασε Black Baron και μηχανικά ο V8 6,3-λίτρων κινητήρας βελτιώθηκε και πλέον αποδίδει 606 άλογα με 660 Nm ροπής, από τα 517 άλογα με τα 620 Nm ροπής που παράγει από το εργοστάσιο.
Αφού την έχει βάψει εξολοκλήρου μαύρη με γκρι και κόκκινες διακοσμητικές λωρίδες, τις φόρεσε και σφυρήλατες ζάντες 20″ με ελαστικά της Hankook διαστάσεων 285/25 μπροστά και 325/25 πίσω με τις αλλαγές να ολοκληρώνονται με τις ρυθμιζόμενες Bilstein Clubsport αναρτήσεις. Το αυτοκίνητο, όπως είναι έτσι βελτιωμένο κοστίζει 175.000 ευρώ.

TIKT Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Baron – The Black Baron
Fitting for the Essen Motor Show the team surrounding TIKT boss, Thomas Bodrodzic, has once again taken on a very special vehicle as the basis of their work.
Over the years the company has made a name for itself as a top tuner with its spectacular and technically expert individual conversions based solely on the top range Corvette (including diverse lap records with the TIKT Corvette ZR 1 Triple X). Now, for the first time, the company has chosen the C63 AMG Black Series (517 PS) from the not exactly feeble powered top model from Mercedes Benz’ C class coupé range with the in-house designation C204 . At the same time the TIKT Group has expanded its portfolio with its own company, TIKT Schmiederad GmbH.
The new co-owner and managing director of TIKT Schmiederad GmbH is Matthias Köhler. TIKT Schmiederad GmbH was newly established for the sale and marketing of the their own wheels made from forged blanks that can be seen for the first time at the Essen Motor Show on the Black Baron. Due to the weight of these extremely light TIKT forged wheels and the clear improvements resulting from these, compared to other vehicles with standard wheels, TIKT has decided to offer the new forged wheels, which are only available in 19″ and 20″, for nearly every super sports cars from leading manufacturers.
The C63 AMG “Black Baron”, on which the brand new, exclusive TIKT forged wheels are celebrating their world premiere, is fitted for the open road with 10Jx20 on the front axle and 11Jx20 on the rear axle, whereby Hankook high performance tyres in sizes 285/25 ZR (VA) and 325/25 ZR20 (HA) ensure the perfect, maximum mechanical grip that is an absolute must in this performance category.
For ambitious hobby racing drivers TIKT offer an additional set-up alternative that has been specially developed for use on race tracks.
When it comes to the suspension the TIKT team has placed its confidence in the brand new, twice adjustable Clubsport suspension from the company Bilstein. However, it was equipped with a special TIKT setting when fitted to the Black Baron.
The engineers and technicians from TIKT also used all their experience and meticulousness for work under the bonnet as they naturally did not want to just make do with the 517 PS provided ex-works. So the 6.2 litre Suction V8 engine was given larger throttle valves, high performance racings headers and a completely new high performance exhaust system with a sports catalyzer and X-pipe as well as engine electronics that have been perfectly tuned to all the modifications on the company’s own testing stations.
The results of their work are more than impressive. The Black Baron now produces a power output of 606 PS and a maximum torque of 660 Nm and has thus clearly distanced itself from the original model.
The ambitious gentleman racing driver can find just the rights components at TIKT to set the tone when racing around the bends both on the road and on the racetrack.
