Και εμείς προσπαθούμε να μαζέψουμε το σαγόνι μας από το πάτωμα. Το Cinquone είναι το πρώτο ομολογκαρισμένο αυτοκίνητο παραγωγής της Romeo Ferraris και αποτελεί μία ρεαλιστική εναλλακτική για το ούτως ή άλλως τρομερό 695 Biposto.

Όπως περιμένει κανείς, το Cinquone βασίζεται στο Abarth 500. Ωστόσο το τόσο ακραίο όσο και brutal bodykit με το οποίο εξοπλίζει η Romeo Ferraris το μικρό Abarth, του δίνει ένα εντελώς διαφορετικό στυλ. Το Cinquone μοιράζεται το bodykit με το ομώνυμο, πρωτότυπο αγωνιστικό που συμμετέχει στο Ιταλικό Endurance Touring Car Championship. Είναι πλατύτερο από το εργοστασιακό, αφήνει ένα ευμεγέθες άνοιγμα για το intercooler, διαθέτει πλαϊνές ποδιές και νέο πίσω προφυλακτήρα με μία κεντρική απόληξη της εξάτμισης. Προαιρετικά, οι πελάτες μπορούν να επιλέξουν το Carbon pack, σε matte ή glossy φινίρισμα που τοποθετεί ανθρακονημάτινα καλύμματα καθρεπτών, καλύμματα για τις κολώνες, αεροτομή, χειρολαβές και πλαίσια για τα φωτιστικά σώματα εμπρός και πίσω.


Όσον αφορά στον κινητήρα, ο 1400άρης T-Jet είναι διαθέσιμος σε τρεις εκδόσεις. Μία με 160 άλογα και 230 Nm ροπής στο απλό Cinquone, μία με 210 άλογα και 310 Nm ροπής στο Cinquone S και την ισχυρότερη, με τα 248 άλογα και τα 330 Nm ροπής στο Cinquone Corsa. Οποιαδήποτε έκδοση επιλεχθεί από τον υποψήφιο πελάτη, ο κινητήρας συνδυάζεται με 5-τάχυτο χειροκίνητο ή αυτόματο κιβώτιο. Άξιο αναφορά είναι και το γεγονός ότι ο κινητήρας πληροί της προδιαγραφές ρύπων Euro6.

Οι επιδόσεις είναι σε κάθε περίπτωση ανάλογες της ιπποδύναμης. Το κορυφαίο Cinquone S όμως, είναι σε θέση να επιταχύνει έως τα 100 km/h από στάση σε 5.5 δευτερόλεπτα ενώ η τελική του, φτάνει τα 240 km/h. Με τέτοιου είδους ταχύτητες, ο κορυφαίος έλεγχος του αμαξώματος αλλά και το καλύτερο δυνατό σύστημα πέδησης είναι φυσικά προαπαιτούμενα. Γι’ αυτό, η Romeo Ferraris εξοπλίζει το Cinquone S και το Cinquone Corsa με αμορτισέρ της Bilstein και ελατήρια της Eibach –στο απλό Cinquone η ανάρτηση είναι αυτή του Abarth 500- ενώ μέσα στους 18άρες ζάντες ελαφρού κράματος, κρύβονται τα φρένα της Brembo με 4-πίστονες δαγκάνες σε δίσκους 305 χιλιοστών για τον εμπρός άξονα και οι μονοπίστονες δαγκάνες σε δίσκους 240 χιλιοστών πίσω –και πάλι, τα φρένα του απλού Cinquone, είναι αυτά που έχει stock το Abarth 500.

Για όποιον πελάτη θεωρεί πως τα 1.030 κιλά του Cinquone S ή του Cinquone Corsa είναι υπερβολικά, μπορεί να επιλέξει το προαιρετικό, “Leggero” πακέτο που αντικαθιστώντας το stock καπό και πορτ-μπαγκάζ με ανθρακονημάτινα, αφαιρώντας τις επενδύσεις από τις πόρτες, το air condition και το ηχοσύστημα και αλλάζοντας τα γυάλινα παράθυρα με αντίστοιχα από plexiglass, μειώνει το βάρος στα 970 κιλά.

Romeo Ferraris is proud to introduce the company’s first homologated production car, a vehicle that is able to meet the strict Euro 6 pollution standards: the Cinquone. If you see it on the road, you could be a bit shocked by its look. The wide body emphasizes the lines of the car, and successfully matches its blasting performance. Three power options are available (160 BHP, 210 BHP, 248 BHP). The most powerful version goes from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 5,5 seconds, and its top speed is in excess of 240 km/h.

The car is not just a tuned 500 Abarth. It is intended to be a real production car, homologated by Romeo Ferraris. In other words, you buy the Cinquone, not a tuned 500 Abarth. And you can customize every single detail, both on the outside and the inside. The exterior colour and livery can be fully personalized. Plus, countless leather and trim options are available.

Simply amazing

Starting from a 500 Abarth, Romeo Ferraris was able to craft a small-size gran turismo with unique design and extreme performance. Aesthetically, the Italian brand’s new creation shares the same bodykit of the eponymous racing prototype competing in the Italian Endurance Touring car Championship (CITE), with increased front and rear track, a new bonnet (also available in carbon fiber), a brand new front bumper framing a racing-grade intercooler, sideskirts that perfectly match the body style and a rear bumper fitting a superb-sounding center exhaust muffler. If you want to add an exclusive touch, you can also choose the carbon exterior pack (with matte or glossy finish – optional) featuring a full set of carbon fiber components 100% made in Italy by Romeo Ferraris. Up to 248 BHP

The 1.4 T-jet is pushed to its limits with three different power options: 160 BHP (Entry Level), 210 BHP (S), and 248 BHP (Corsa). All of them feature a specific ECU setup developed by Romeo Ferraris. With the S and Corsa models, you also get an upgraded turbocharger, new injectors, a new fuel pressure regulator and a high performance full exhaust system (downpipe with catalyzer, mid pipe and rear muffler) homologated to meet the Euro 6 pollution standards. And if you think that your exhaust note is sometimes too loud for the city streets, you can install a remote control valve to quiet it down as an option.

Need for speed

If the exterior can leave you speechless, the car’s handling will definitely make you fall in love. The Cinquone Corsa (248 BHP, 330 Nm of torque) goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 5,5 seconds and its top speed is in excess of 240 km/h. In addition to that, its weight-to-power ratio (4,15 kg/BHP) is the lowest among minicars (A segment). On the road, you can appreciate the amazing handling and grip levels resulting from an Bilstein/Eibach suspension system with adjustable ride height (as an option, you can get a fully ride height/compression/rebound adjustable one). Every time you hit the throttle, you can feel the power through your veins. And you don’t have to worry about stopping in time because the braking system is up to the situation, with 305 mm Brembo vented discs and 4 piston floating calipers at the front and 204 mm discs at rear (the Entry Level has 284 x 22 mm discs at front).

Tailor made

The interiors can be fully customized and Romeo Ferraris offers countless options to satisfy every client request. Every single part of the cockpit can be covered with leather or Alcantara®, to delight even the most sophisticated tastes. On the other hand, who loves racing style can choose from a wide range of carbon fiber parts to replace the original plastic ones, including a full-width dashboard, paddle shifters and steering wheel inserts, door handles an the A/C panel.

Upon request, Romeo Ferraris can create a two seater configuration with a roll-bar and Recaro monocoque sports seats (optional). This is a “track oriented” solution, although the car remains usable as your daily driver. Also, the boot becomes a comfortable space where you can lodge your golf bag or your helmet.

Even “Lighter”

If the 1030 kilograms of the standard versions are too much, you can drop them down to 970 kg with the optional “Leggero” weight reduction kit including a carbon fiber bonnet and rear boot door. Romeo Ferraris will also replace the door panels, remove the air conditioning and hi-fi systems and install racing plexiglass windows.

Coupe and cabrio

The Euro 6 Cinquone is available in coupe and cabrio configuration, with manual or automatic transmission with paddles shifters. Both can be converted in two-seater configuration.

Moreover, it is possible to convert every 500 Abarth (only if less then 6 months old) in a fully-homologated Cinquone.
