Η Mazda παρουσίασε και επίσημα το νέο CX-4 το οποίο θα κάνει ντεμπούτο αύριο στην έκθεση του Πεκίνο. Το νέο coupe crossover της ιαπωνικής εταιρίας διαθέτει κεκλιμένη γραμμή οροφής, λεπτά φωτιστικά σώματα τεχνολογίας LED και χρωμιομένα διακοσμητικά. Ο σχεδιασμός του ακολουθεί την KODO-Soul of Motion σχεδιαστική γλώσσα, με το ύψος από το έδαφος να είναι λίγο μικρότερο από αυτό των CX-3, CX-5 και CX-9 φτάνοντας τα 197 mm. Πατά σε ζάντες 19″, ενώ στο εσωτερικό συναντάμε head-up display, ηλεκτρικό χειρόφρενο, πολυλειτουργικό τιμόνι και το MZD σύστημα ενημέρωσης και ψυχαγωγίας με οθόνη αφής.

Το CX-4 αρχικά θα πωλείται αποκλειστικά στην αγορά της Κίνας. Κάτω από καπό υπάρχει ο 2.0 SKYACTIV-G κινητήρας 158 ίππων με 202 Nm ροπής και ο 2.5 SKYACTIV-G κινητήρας 192 ίππων με 252 Nm ροπής, Η κίνηση περνά είτε στους μπροστά είτε σε όλους τους τροχούς. Το CX-4 έχει μήκος 4.633 mm, πλάτος 1.840 mm, ύψος 1.535 mm και μεταξόνιο 2.700 mm.

Ως αντίπαλο θα έχει το Subaru Outback, με την Mazda να πιστεύει πως το σπορ crossover της θα αποτελέσει μια εναλλακτική επιλογή σε όποιον δεν επιθυμεί να προβεί στην αγορά ενός παραδοσιακού crossover.

HIROSHIMA, Japan—Mazda Motor Corporation has unveiled a new crossover SUV, the Mazda CX-4, at the Beijing Motor Show (Auto China 2016).^*1 The latest edition to Mazda’s new-generation lineup adopts SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY and KODO—Soul of Motion design throughout and goes on sale in China in June.

The CX-4 was made to exceed existing categories and stereotypes. The dynamic design is unmistakably KODO in form and the planted stance and sleek, coupe-like cabin combine to give the model an outstanding presence. Customers will appreciate the exceptional functionality and user-friendliness, including the ease of entering and exiting the vehicle and the flexible cargo space. With SUV-like ground clearance and Mazda’s i-ACTIV AWD^*2 all-wheel drive system, the CX-4 is ready to take on a wide range of road conditions and offers a combination of outstanding environmental and safety performance (Sustainable Zoom-Zoom) and a Jinba-ittai driving feel with excellent handling thanks to its low center of gravity.
