H Fiat ανακοίνωσε την έκδοση Virgin Radio για το Punto. Το αυτοκίνητο πωλείται στην Ιταλία έναντι 10.700 ευρώ και διαθέτει ηχοσύστημα με δυνατότητα αναπαραγωγής MP3 με ενισχυτή και subwoofer, κλιματισμό, ESP, μαύρες ή λευκές ζάντες αλουμινίου και αυτοκόλλητα Virgin Radio στις κολώνες. Μηχανικά είναι διαθέσιμο είτε με τον 1.200αρη κινητήρα με τα 69 άλογα, είτε με τον 1.400αρη με τα 77, είτε με τον 1.300αρη MultiJet II με τα 75 άλογα.

Παράλληλα έδωσε μερικές ακόμη επίσημες φωτογραφίες του Viaggio, της δικής της εκδοχής του Dodge Dart το οποίο παρουσιάστηκε στην έκθεση του Πεκίνο. Μηχανικά θα είναι διαθέσιμο με τον 1.400αρη T-Jet απόδοσης 120 και 150 ίππων. Οι κινητήρες συνδυάζονται είτε με ένα 5-τάχυτο μηχανικό κιβώτιο είτε με το 6-τάχυτο αυτόματο κιβώτιο διπλού συμπλέκτη DDCT (Dual Dry Clutch Transmission) της Fiat Powertrain.

Έχει μήκος 4.679 mm, πλάτος 1.850 mm και μεταξόνιο 2.708 mm και είναι σχεδιασμένο από το Fiat Group Style Centre στο Τορίνο. Θα κατασκευάζεται στη Κίνα στο νέο εργοστάσιο της κοινοπραξίας Fiat-Guangzhou Auto, Gac-Fiat World Class Manufacturing στη πόλη Changsha της επαρχίας Hunan, με την παραγωγή να ξεκινά τον Ιούλιο και με τις πρώτες παραδώσεις να γίνονται κατά το τρίτο τρίμηνο του 2012. Το εργοστάσιο θα έχει αρχική δυναμικότητα παραγωγής 140.000 οχημάτων ετησίως, αλλά θα μπορεί να φτάσει και τις 250.000 μονάδες. Το αυτοκίνητο θα κυκλοφορήσει στην Ευρώπη, και πιθανώς θα αντικαταστήσει το Bravo.
