H Rolls-Royce στο Pebble Beach παρουσίασε μια one-off Ghost με το μακρύ μεταξόνιο. Το αυτοκίνητο είναι ντυμένο σε μπλε και λευκό χρώμα με μια λεπτή πορτοκαλί λωρίδα να διατρέχει το καπό και από τις δύο μεριές.
Στο εσωτερικό υπάρχουν ραμμένα στο χέρι ολογράμματα στα προσκέφαλα, τα πίσω καθίσματα, είναι θερμαινόμενα με σύστημα μασάζ ενώ φορά το Natural Grain δέρμα, το οποίο μέχρι προηγουμένως ήταν διαθέσιμο αποκλειστικά στην Phantom.
Φορά το σύστημα νυχτερινής όρασης με αναγνώριση προσώπου, το οποίο φρενάρει αυτόματα, αν ο οδηγός δεν ανταποκριθεί στις οπτικές και ηχητικές ειδοποιήσεις. Τέλος διαθέτει και το σύστημα Smart Boot Opener το οποίο ανοίγει το πορτμπαγκάζ, απλά με το πέρασμα του ποδιού κάτω από τον πίσω προφυλακτήρα.

ROLLS-ROYCE UNVEILS BESPOKE 2013 GHOST AT QUAIL
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars unveils 2013 Ghost with a one off edition celebrating Quail, a Motorsports gathering, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and Monterey.
Every August the Monterey Peninsula plays host to what is arguably the most prestigious automotive concours event in the world, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Highlighted by warm ocean breezes and meticulously manicured golf courses, the event draws the best of the best of both historic and experimental vehicles from around the globe. The weekend kicks off on Friday with Quail, a Motorsports Gathering featuring the newest limited edition and concept vehicles.
In celebration, the one of a kind 2013 Ghost Extended Wheelbase unveiled at Quail shows a sampling of what is possible when commissioning your Rolls-Royce with the creative assistance of the craftsmen and women of the Bespoke department at the Home of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood, England.
A contrasting upper two-tone paint scheme sparkles with Carrara White over Mazarine Blue offset by a Mandarin Orange twin feature line. Opening the coach doors, one is greeted by polished tread plates with Pebble Beach and the Orange Poppy, the official flower of California and native to the Monterey peninsula.
The poppy theme is carried through to hand monogrammed headrests and the veneered dash inlay. Seashell and Navy Blue contrasting leather is highlighted by Navy Blue piping and two-tone contrasting instrument panel. A Navy Blue clock is set into Crossbanded Walnut Burr Veneer, both available for the first time on 2013 Ghost.
Individual ventilated rear seating with massage feature and theater entertainment offer a space to relax while enjoying a drink from the coolbox.
For 2013, Ghost is further enhanced with new features providing an even greater experience for both driver and passenger in comfort and technology. A perforated leather headliner is available with the standard Panorama Sunroof on Ghost Extended Wheelbase for the first time enhancing the light and airy feel of the cabin.
Natural Grain leather, the softest, most luxurious leather, previously only available on Phantom is available as an option on Ghost for the first time in 2013. When chosen, natural grain leather covers the seats, upper and lower instrument panel, instrument panel sides, door trim and center armrest and rear hat tray.
Night Vision with person recognition will pretension the brakes, alongside the audible and visual pedestrian warnings, in the event that sudden braking is required. Comfort Access now includes a Smart Boot Opener function. Approaching the rear of the car, a simple leg movement triggers the opening of the boot without the need to press any buttons.
2013 Ghost arrives in showrooms coinciding with the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance weekend.
