Στην έκθεση της Γενεύης, η Lancia είχε παρουσιάσει την Ypsilon Elefantino και τώρα ανακοίνωσε ότι ξεκίνησαν οι παραγγελίες της, όπου στην Ιταλία ξεκινά από τις 10.450 ευρώ.
Η έκδοση απευθύνεται σε νεαρό κοινό και είναι διαθέσιμο σε πέντε χρώματα (Neve White, Sabbia Beige, Pietra Grey, Aurora Purple, Turquoise και Turquoise/Vulcano Black), με τη πόρτα του πορτμπαγκάζ να είναι σε όλα τα χρώματα βαμμένη μαύρη. Φούξια λεπτομέρειες κοσμούν τους καθρέπτες και τις ζάντες.
Στο εσωτερικό συναντάμε δερμάτινο τιμόνι και επιλογέα ταχυτήτων, μαύρες υφασμάτινες επενδύσεις με φούξια ραφές, και χρωμιομένα διακοσμητικά. Στον βασικό εξοπλισμό συναντάμε μπροστά ηλεκτρικά παράθυρα, ρυθμιζόμενο καθ’ύψος κάθισμα οδηγού, πίσω διαιρούμενα καθίσματα, κλιματισμό, ζάντες 15″, ράδιο-CD με δυνατότητα αναπαραγωγής MP3, ABS με EBD, 4 αερόσακους και ISOFIX
Μηχανικά είναι διαθέσιμο με τον 1.2 βενζινοκινητήρα απόδοσης 69 ίππων, με τον 0,9-λίτρων TwinAir Turbo απόδοσης 85 ίππων, με τον 1,3-λίτρων MultiJet απόδοσης 95 ίππων, με τον 1,2 LPG απόδοσης 69 ίππων, καθώς και με τον 0,9-λίτρων TwinAir Turbo Methane απόδοσης 80 ίππων.

The Lancia Ypsilon Elefantino can be ordered starting today. It is the new special series designed for young and dynamic customers which will debut on 13 and 14 April at Italian dealerships. Available with all the engine versions combined with manual gearboxes (69 HP 1.2, 85 HP 0.9 Turbo TwinAir, 95 HP 1.3 MultiJet, 69 HP 1.2 LPG and 80 HP 0.9 Turbo TwinAir Methane), the list price ranges from 12,700 Euros for the 69 HP 1.2 version to reach the top of the range priced at 16,500 Euros: Ypsilon Elefantino 80 HP 0.9 Turbo TwinAir Methane version.After accompanying the Lancia Racing Team in the 1960s competitions, the Elefantino symbol reappeared from 1997 to 2003 on the new Lancia Y – in different Blue, Red and Blues variants – with more than 320,000 units sold, 45% of the mix of total registrations in the model. In particular, the Elefantino Blue version demonstrated Lancia’s wish to extend the possibility of purchasing a model with a unique line and personality to younger customers as well.Today the charming Elefantino is back on the new Ypsilon 5-door, making this successful model accessible also to younger customers so they can distinguish themselves by driving a car with a unique line and personality. With the new ‘Fashion City Car’ special series, Lancia also confirms its vocation of young and unconventional car, able to anticipate the needs of the public and make itself the trend. Little lucky charm, symbol of loyalty, respect and charm, the elefantino marks the tailgate next to the Ypsilon logo, embellishing the ‘signature’ of the car.
The new ‘entry level’ of the range and an alternative to the Silver version, the unprecedented trim level addresses a younger audience that prefers contents connected to the ‘metropolitan’ style as the refined body colours – always matched with the gloss black tailgate – demonstrate: Sabbia Beige, Neve White and Pietra Grey , and the classic Vulcano Black and Aurora Purple – included in the pricelist – as well (the new Turquoise colour and new Turquoise/Vulcano Black two-tone will be added in June). To further emphasise the glamour soul of the new special series, the special liveries are embellished with fuchsia details that characterise the door mirror covers with specific graphics, body coloured door handles and the original coloured wheel hub caps.
In keeping with the informal soul of the new Ypsilon Elefantino, a single casual interior is available for all exterior shades, where the leather steering wheel, chrome-plated finishes of the dashboard and black fabric seats with fuchsia stitching (the same also found on the gear lever gaiter and headrests), combined with door mirror covers, hub caps and rear ‘Elefantino‘ logo, stand out. Finally, the tone-on-tone stickers on the central posts and the characterisation of the dashboard and seats draw on the ‘metropolitan’ style with graphics dedicated to the trendiest European cities.
Whatever the colour or the engine chosen, the Lancia Ypsilon Elefantino customer will always be able to count on a wealth of standard equipment that includes: door opening remote control, leather gear knob and steering wheel (height and depth-adjustable), electric front windows, 50/50 split rear seat, height-adjustable driver seat, 15″ steel wheels and interiors in technical fabric with fitted electro-welded seams. Climate control system and radio with CD-MP3 player complete the content line-up: both items are included in the commercial offer and are totally free of charge. In terms of safety, ABS with EBD, front and side airbags, and also the Isofix attachments are offered standard.
The special Elefantino series broadens the offer of the new Lancia Ypsilon that is facing 2013 with a renewed range even with the recent introduction of the methane/petrol 80 HP Turbo TwinAir engine. On the market since January 2013, the Ypsilon Ecochic Methane has received orders equal to 30% of the mix that added to the results of the Ypsilon Ecochic LPG reaches a remarkable 60% of the total green versions of the Ypsilon family.
In addition, the new products will continue throughout the year, contributing to reinforcing the growing success the model has so far met both with the public and with critics, as demonstrated by the approximately 70,000 registrations from its launch to date. Finally, with a share of 11% in the B segment, in the first quarter of 2013 the Lancia Ypsilon is the third best-selling car in Italy, consolidating the results achieved during 2012.
