Σε μία εποχή που μεγάλα σχεδιαστικά studios στην Ιταλία κλείνουν ή απλά παραπαίουν, ολοένα και περισσότερα μικρά studios, επανδρωμένα με ταλαντούχους και παθιασμένους ανθρώπους παίρνουν την θέση τους. Αυτό είναι εν μέρει λογικό γιατί χάρη στην τεχνολογία, «παρέες» 2-3 ατόμων με ένα όραμα, μπορούν να το «υλοποιήσουν» χάρη στο 3D rendering και όσο προχωράει και η 3D εκτύπωση τόσο περισσότερο θα βλέπουμε μικρά project να αποκτούν σάρκα και οστά…
Αυτή τη φορά, μας απασχολεί η CAMAL και το τελευταίο της δημιούργημα, η Tributo. Παρότι δεν φαίνεται, το εν λόγω μοντέλο είναι βασισμένο πάνω στην Maserati Granturismo και δίνει μία πολύ διαφορετική «χροιά» στο μέλλον της Maserati. Η Tributo είναι fastback και όπως λέει και ο Paolo Garella:
Η Tributo είναι ένα fastback, μία φυσική επιλογή για να τονίσεις τον sport χαρακτήρα της μάρκας. Έναν sport χαρακτήρα που θέλεις να τον ενώσεις με τα ουσιώδη χαρακτηριστικά όπως η ποιότητα, η άνεση και η κομψότητα.
Όπως φαίνεται και από τα renderings, η Tributo είναι έντονα επηρεασμένη από τους μεγάλους ιταλούς σχεδιαστές του παρελθόντος. Σε γενικές γραμμές το σύνολο παραμένει απλό, ενώ τεχνικά, διατηρεί τα βασικά χαρακτηριστικά όπως τις ζώνες προστασίας και άλλα χαρακτηριστικά ασφάλειας για να γίνει πιο εύκολη μία πιθανή η έγκριση ενός one-off μοντέλου. Η επιλογή των υλικών δε είναι τέτοια ώστε να μειώνει το βάρος και να βελτιώνει τις επιδόσεις και την οδική συμπεριφορά.

Born from the pencil of the designer Alessio Minchella the Tribute is the last work of the study CAMAL.
This special bodywork, designed for a single copy, is based on the platform of Maserati Granturismo, it shares not only the technical but also the layout skills of elegance and sportiness that has always characterized the cars of the trident.
The style of the future car, was created to meet the classic and refined taste of the estimators of the house of Modena, a stylistic path that starts from the famous Ghibli, Bora, Kashmin track and a new interpretation the Maserati GT.
Tribute is a fastback, a natural choice to enhance the sporting character of the brand, a strong character who has wanted to merge with the essential characteristics of quality, comfort and elegance typical of Maserati.
Inspired by the work of best car designers from Turin in the past, it was decided to meet the most rigorous and balancing the volumes through the use of simple sections along the central part of the car. The protruding wheel arches, reminiscent of the powerful V8 overseas the years 60 and 70, reinforce the visual impact of the car body that lives and enhances the symbiosis with the basic architecture.
The front and rear have been treated and adorned only in a functional, thus emphasizing the simple and sculptural that makes the car an exercise in elegance with a strong identity.
Technically the car has retained its basic features, but the choice of materials of the bodywork has lessened the burden increasing their performance. Security structures have remained unchanged allowing easy approval as a single unit of the car.Several options for enhancement of the engine are available to the customer.
Tribute is an example of professionalism and expertise with which the study CAMAL faces every project that is being proposed, whether it comes from a private customer, or by a company .
CAMAL, has extensive experience in the field of one-off and uses industry best practices for the creation of mathematical models, knowing work in parallel to the process of looking for style and prototyping.
The team that developed the concept is composed by Alessio Minchella, a freelance designer and teacher at IED, Alexander Camorali founder of CAMAL and Dalling. Paul Garella, inspiration of the idea that gave rise to the concept.
