Η Mercedes-Benz ετοιμάζεται για την άνοιξη και το καλοκαίρι, λανσάροντας στη Γενεύη δύο ειδικές εκδόσεις: την SL 2LOOK και την SLK CarbonLOOK.
Η τελευταία, είναι διαθέσιμη για διάφορα μοντέλα (εννοώ την SLK με διάφορους κινητήρες) και περιλαμβάνει το bodykit της AMG, roll-bars από ανοδιωμένο αλουμίνιο, μεγαλύτερα φρένα, sport ανάρτηση χαμηλωμένη κατά 10 χιλιοστά και νέες ζάντες ελαφρού κράματος. Στο εσωτερικό, βλέπουμε πως τα sport, θερμαινόμενα καθίσματα είναι επενδυμένα με Nappa δέρμα με πράσινες λεπτομέρειες ενώ διαθέτει το AIRSCARF σύστημα στον standard εξοπλισμό. Το CarbonLOOK κοστίζει 6.426€.
Από την πλευρά της, η 2LOOK έκδοση της SL-Class διαφοροποιείται κυρίως χάρη στον χρωματικό συνδυασμό. Είναι διαθέσιμη σε design magno cashmere white, design diamond white bright, tenorite grey ή iridium silver. Η οροφή είναι μαύρη (τρεις αποχρώσεις: black, obsidian black και magnetite black) και οι ζάντες ελαφρού κράματος, 19 ιντσών. Η διχρωμία, συνεχίζεται και στο εσωτερικό με μαύρο και πλατινέ Nappa δέρμα, piano black διακοσμητικά και επιπλέον standard εξοπλισμό. Όπως και η CarbonLOOK, έτσι και η 2LOOK είναι διαθέσιμη για διάφορα μοντέλα και στο μέλλον θα μπορεί να επιλεχθεί και για τις SL63 και SL65 AMG. Για τις V6 και V8 εκδόσεις, η 2LOOK κοστίζει 9.877€.

Ready for the open-air season: SL and SLK enter spring in style
Mercedes-Benz is all set for the approaching spring with two particularly dynamic and striking special models. The SL 2LOOK Edition and the SLK CarbonLOOK Edition offer open-air motoring pleasure in a particularly exclusive guise. Both Edition models make high-class style statements with a strikingly sharper exterior profile and an impressively high-quality interior. Substantial price advantages add to the lure of revelling in the brighter time of the year behind the wheel of these two special editions. The Edition models are available to order now.
Expressive AMG bodystyling ensures that the SLK CarbonLOOK Edition boasts a decidedly sporty and athletic appearance. The bodystyling comprises a muscular front apron, striking side sill panels and a powerful rear apron. High-sheen AMG 5-spoke light-alloy wheels painted in titanium grey, headlamps with dark surrounds and roll-over bars with inserts in anodised aluminium feature exclusively on this Edition, further heightening the special SLK model’s strikingly dynamic character. A “CarbonLOOK” badge in the mirror triangle discreetly alludes to the Edition model’s special status.
On a technical level, the SLK CarbonLOOK Edition is distinguished by a sports suspension which has been lowered by ten millimetres. It also comes with a larger brake system featuring Mercedes-Benz lettering on the callipers and perforated brake discs at the front for all four-cylinder models. The four-cylinder petrol engines of the Edition model additionally make their mark with an even sportier sound.
The interior of the SLK CarbonLOOK Edition interprets sportiness in a modern vein with striking highlights. The two-tone upholstery in black nappa leather and designo titanium grey pearlwith striking lime green piping on the sports seats and the door centre panels lends a distinctly dynamic character to the interior. The head restraints in embossed carbon-fibre look add to this impression of dynamism. AMG trim in high-quality genuine carbon fibre and velour floor mats with edging in lime green and Edition logo underscore the sporty appearance. Gearshift or selector lever are trimmed with nappa leather, and this premium material is also used for the lever gaiter. Velour floor mats with piping in lime green and Edition logo round off the eye-catching overall impression. The special model’s sporty character is further emphasized by an instrument cluster in chequered-flag look, plus steering wheel shift paddles on automatic vehicles. Heated seats and the AIRSCARF neck-level heating for driver and front passenger add an exceptional touch of comfort.
The SLK CarbonLOOK Edition is available for the SLK 200, SLK 250, SLK 350 and SLK 250 CDI models at an extra cost of between 6426 and 6902 euros (incl. VAT), depending on engine variant. This represents a saving of up to 1710 euros (up to 25 percent).
SLK 55 AMG CarbonLOOK Edition
The SLK 55 AMG CarbonLOOK Edition is additionally distinguished by various design features in high-gloss black. These include the vario-roof, the inserts on the sides of the AMG front apron, the spoiler lip, the exterior mirror housings and the fins on the wings. The 45.7 cm (18-inch) AMG 10-spoke light-alloy wheels with high-sheen rim flange are painted in matt black, underscoring the vehicle’s dynamic appearance.
AMG sports seats in black nappa leather with piping in lime green and head restraints featuring an embossed carbon-fibre look add exquisite highlights to the interior. The exclusive range of features further includes an AMG Performance steering wheel in Alcantara® with black 12 o’clock marking, AMG carbon-fibre trim and AMG floor mats with piping in lime green. Together with heated seats and AIRSCARF neck-level heating, a Memory package also provides for added comfort here.
The additional charge for the SLK 55 AMG CarbonLOOK Edition is 6962 euros (incl. VAT).
Mercedes-Benz SL 2LOOK Edition
Another eye-catcher to welcome in the spring is the Mercedes-Benz SL 2LOOK Edition, which turns heads with its fascinating contrasts. Particularly alluring is the standard combination of a light-coloured paint finish, such as designo magno cashmere white, designo diamond white bright, tenorite grey or iridium silver, with a vario-roof in high-gloss black. For a more discreet appearance, it is also possible to choose a roof in the vehicle’s body colour, instead of this contrasting design. The spectrum of alternative colours for the special model comprises black, obsidian black and magnetite black. Further highlights are the high-sheen 48.3 cm (19-inch) multi-spoke light-alloy wheels or the optionally available 48.3 cm (19-inch) AMG 7-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels painted in high-gloss black and featuring a high-sheen finish.
The fascinating interplay of light and dark is continued in the interior. The striking seats featuring a sporty longitudinal piping design in black nappa leather contrast with inserts in designo nappa leather in platinum white pearl. The side sections of the door armrests and the centre armrest also feature contrasting designo platinum white pearl. The two-tone design is also in evidence on the designo steering wheel and the AMG floor mat with AMG lettering and edging in designo platinum white pearl. There is also designo trim in black piano lacquer to underscore the special model’s exclusive look. Outstanding roadster comfort is ensured by a range of standard-fit features comprising the Active Multicontour Seat package, climatised seats and AIRSCARF neck-level heating for driver and front passenger, which makes open-top trips a pure joy even in cooler temperatures.
The Mercedes-Benz SL 2LOOK Edition is available with a V6 or V8 engine for an additional charge of 9877 euros (incl. VAT). This represents a saving of up to 2345 euros.
SL 63 AMG and SL 65 AMG 2LOOK Edition available from June 2014
The SL 63 AMG and the SL 65 AMG 2LOOK Edition sport an unusual, dynamic appearance. The vario-roof, the cross-strut in the AMG front apron, the exterior mirror housings, the fins on the wings and bonnet, the surrounds of the LED daytime running lamps, the spoiler lip and the insert in the AMG rear apron all shine resplendent in high-gloss black. The tailpipe trim elements feature a black chrome-plated finish, while high-gloss chrome is reserved for the twin louvre of the radiator grille and the AMG lettering. Further highlights are the Edition-specific 48.3 cm (19-inch)/50.8 cm (20-inch) AMG 10-spoke forged wheels, painted in matt black and featuring a high-sheen finish, and the red-painted brake callipers.
The driver and front passenger sit in AMG sports seats featuring an AMG-specific diamond pattern in Exclusive nappa leather with contrasting trim in designo platinum white pearl nappa leather and with the AMG emblem in the backrest. The door centre panels also showcase the AMG diamond pattern. Here too, the stylish designo leather in platinum white pearl adorns the side sections of the armrests, the doors and the centre armrest. Black leather gives the designo roof liner character. This exclusive look is underscored by an AMG Performance steering wheel in nappa leather/Alcantara® with a bezel in high-gloss black. The steering wheel features a high-quality hand-crafted finish with white contrasting topstitching. Its bottom section incorporates an insert in designo platinum white pearl nappa leather, while in the 12 o’clock position there is a black marking. designo trim in black piano lacquer (AMG carbon-fibre trim alternatively available as a no-cost option), AMG floor mats with AMG lettering and designo platinum white pearl edging and vent surrounds in high-gloss black add the defining finishing touches to the two-tone look.
The additional charges for the AMG Edition models are 9401 euros (SL 63 AMG) and 5355 euros (SL 65 AMG) (incl. VAT in each case).
From June 2014, all SL 63 AMG models will furthermore boast an output of 430 kW (585 hp) and 900 Nm of torque. With this change entering into effect, the differential lock will form part of the standard scope of equipment.
