H Nissan ξεκίνησε σήμερα τη παραγωγή του ανανεωμένου Juke το οποίο παρουσιάστηκε στην έκθεση της Γενεύης τον περασμένο Μάρτιο. Το αυτοκίνητο κατασκευάζεται στο εργοστάσιο του Sunderland της Nissan, στο οποίο η Ιαπωνική εταιρία έχει επενδύσει 20 εκατ. λίρες Αγγλίας ώστε να μπορεί αυτό να κατασκευάσει το ανανεωμένο Juke.
Το Juke έχει ανασχεδιασμένα φωτιστικά σώματα με LED φώτα ημέρας και νέα γρίλια, Νέοι είναι και οι καθρέφτες με το ενσωματωμένο –LED- φλας και κάμερες για το –extra- Around View Monitor. Στο πίσω μέρος, ο προφυλακτήρας έχει πιο επιθετικό σχήμα ενώ ακριβώς όπως και μπροστά, νέα είναι και τα φωτιστικά σώματα. Με το Juke facelift η Nissan βρήκε την ευκαιρία να προσθέσει 3 νέα χρώματα στη γκάμα του αυτοκινήτου ενώ διαθέσιμα είναι και νέα σχέδια για ζάντες ελαφρού κράματος 16, 17 ή 18 ιντσών.
Αντίστοιχες, αλλά ελαφρώς πιο περιορισμένες είναι και οι αλλαγές στο εσωτερικό. Εκεί, οι σχεδιαστές προσπάθησαν να ανανεώσουν το design της καμπίνας χωρίς όμως να αλλάξουν τα χαρακτηριστικά γνωρίσματα του Juke. Αλλαγές έγιναν και στο σχήμα του χώρου αποσκευών με αποτέλεσμα να αυξήσουν –στα δικίνητα μοντέλα- την χωρητικότητα κατά 40% φτάνοντας τα εντυπωσιακά για την κατηγορία 354 λίτρα.
Το νέο Juke είναι διαθέσιμο με τρεις κινητήρες, έναν νέο, έναν σημαντικά αναβαθμισμένο και τον ήδη πολύ καλό 1.5 dCi diesel που δεν υπέστη ιδιαίτερες αλλαγές. Νέος για το Juke είναι ο 1.2 λίτρων DIG-T κινητήρας που αντικαθιστά τον 1600άρη με τα 117 άλογα. Χάρη στην υπερτροφοδότηση και τον άμεσο ψεκασμό, ο 1200άρης παράγει 115 άλογα αλλά πιο σημαντικά, 190 Nm ροπής εκπέμποντας 126 gr/km CO2 και καταναλώνοντας 5.5 λίτρα καυσίμου ανά 100 χιλιόμετρα (στον μικρό κύκλο). Στην γκάμα υπάρχει και ο υπάρχον 1.6 DIG-T βενζινοκινητήρας με 187 ίππους. Ο κινητήρας αυτός πληροί τις Euro6 προδιαγραφές και εκπέμπει 139 gr/km CO2 –στις δικίνητες εκδόσεις-. Εκτός από το μηχανικό 6-τάχυτο κιβώτιο, ο 1600άρης DIG-T προσφέρεται και με το extra Xtronic CVT κιβώτιο που βελτιώνει περαιτέρω την κατανάλωση, τις επιδόσεις και τις εκπομπές ρύπων.

Sunderland, UK, June 23, 2014: Boasting fresh design features and packed with extra technology, Nissan’s new and improved Juke is now in production for Europe.
Already the runaway leader in B-segment crossovers, with over 540,000 Jukes produced in the UK since 2010, Nissan has invested £20m in its Sunderland plant for production of this significantly revised model, enabling a series of design enhancements, new engines and technologies and a wide-ranging personalisation programme.
The launch of the new Juke completes the total refresh of the plant’s product line-up in just over a year, following the start of production of Nissan’s all-electric LEAF, new Note and new Qashqai in Sunderland, representing over £800m investment and supporting more than 38,000 UK automotive jobs.
It also coincides with a new recruitment drive for maintenance professionals to support a third year of 500,000 output at the plant, with 50 new posts available for experienced technicians to support high volumes across vehicle, powertrain and battery facilities.
Nissan’s Vice President for Manufacturing in the UK, Kevin Fitzpatrick said: “The launch of the new Juke further strengthens Nissan’s command of the crossover market. With a new Qashqai and now a new Juke in production at Sunderland, the crossover has become part of this plant’s DNA.
“This significantly revised new Juke is another example of how we never stand still at Nissan, so we are looking for experienced maintenance professionals who can help us build on our recent achievements and support the efficient running of the plant.”

The extensive changes on the new Juke include; a new design at the front and rear, a new downsized DIG-T 115 turbocharged engine offering greater performance, economy and lower emissions, a revised DIG-T 190 engine, advanced equipment including a new audio system, the latest generation NissanConnect driver-vehicle interface, Nissan Safety Shield, Nissan’s Dynamic Control system, plus a new open-air panoramic glass roof.
Space in the luggage area has increased by 40 per cent in two-wheel drive versions, and the new personalisation programme called ‘Nissan Design Studio’, offers a range of new colours, interior and exterior themes.
The new Juke is on sale now in the UK and across all European markets in the coming weeks.
