Skoda Fabia Combi R5 1

Η Skoda παρουσίασε και επίσημα το Fabia Combi R5 που μας teasαρε με τα σχέδια πριν από μερικές ημέρες, καθώς και άλλα 4 μοντέλα που θα κατεβάσει στη δημοφιλή έκθεση.

Πρώτα απ’ όλα, το Skoda Fabia Combi R5. Η φωτογραφία που έδωσε στη δημοσιότητα η Skoda εστιάζει στο εντυπωσιακό πίσω μέρος με την μεγάλη αεροτομή, τα φαρδιά φτερά και την κεντρικά τοποθετημένη απόληξη της εξάτμισης με τους mini-διαχύτες εκατέρωθεν της. Αντίστοιχα επιθετικό είναι και το εμπρός μέρος πάντως με νέο προφυλακτήρα, αεριζόμενο καπό και νέα καλύμματα για τους καθρέπτες. Στην οροφή δε, δεσπόζει το τεράστιο roof scoop. Κάτω από το καπό, βρίσκεται ο turbo 1600άρης του αγωνιστικού που επίσης εκτίθεται.

Skoda FUNstar

Επόμενο, είναι το FUNstar που ήταν το πρώτο που παρουσιάστηκε. Το λευκό πρωτότυπο με τις πράσινες λεπτομέρειες και τις 18άρες ζάντες ελαφρού κράματος, δημιουργήθηκε από 23 εκπαιδευόμενους ηλικίας 17-18 ετών. Το project ξεκίνησε από το 2014 και αφού έγινε ξεκαθάρισμα, κατέληξαν σε αυτό που βλέπεις. Το πρωτότυπο, κινείται από έναν 1.2 TSI κινητήρα που αποδίδει 122 άλογα και συνδυάζεται με 7-τάχυτο, αυτόματο κιβώτιο DSG. Οι “μικροί” ήθελαν να τοποθετήσουν τον 1800άρη TSI αλλά δεν χωρούσε… Τέλος, στο εσωτερικό υπάρχει νέο sport τιμόνι και καθίσματα ενώ το ηχοσύστημα έχει αναβαθμιστεί με ένα σύνολο 1.400 Watt.

Skoda Fabia Red&Grey Plus

Τέταρτο στη σειρά, είναι το Fabia Red & Grey. Όπως φανερώνει και το όνομα του, το μοντέλο είναι λευκό και κόκκινο ενώ το πακέτο περιλαμβάνει ζάντες ελαφρού κράματος 17 ιντσών, εμπρός spoiler, πλευρικά μαρσπιέ, πίσω διαχύτη και αεροτομή.

Skoda Octavia Combi RS 230

Τέλος, η Skoda θα έχει στην έκθεση το Octavia Combi RS 230. Ο δίλιτρος κινητήρας του sport station wagon αποδίδει 230 άλογα και συνδυάζεται με 6-τάχυτο μηχανικό κιβώτιο. Τα 100 km/h από στάση έρχονται σε 6.8 δευτερόλεπτα ενώ η τελική του, είναι 247 km/h. Οι πωλήσεις του Octavia Combi RS 230 ξεκινούν τον ερχόμενο Ιούνιο.

Mladá Boleslav/Reifnitz, 11 May 2015 – The GTI Meeting at Wörthersee has gathered somewhat of a cult following over recent years. It will be that time again in mid-May for ŠKODA to join the action – this time with five emotive ŠKODA racers, including four sporty versions of the ŠKODA Fabia. First up is the brand new ŠKODA Fabia R5 rally car, an estate version will also be presented for the first time – the Combi show car. The ‘Trainee Car’ ŠKODA FUNstar and the ŠKODA Fabia with Design package Red & Grey Plus will both be celebrating their world premieres. ŠKODA’s show in Austria Reifnitz will be rounded off with the new ŠKODA Octavia Combi RS 230.

?The 34th GTI Meeting takes place between 13 and 16 May 2015. As many as 200,000 tuning and motorsport enthusiasts will be making the pilgrimage to Wörthersee, indulging their passion for fast cars. “Motor racing is in our brand’s DNA,” says ŠKODA CEO Prof. Dr. h.c. Winfried Vahland. “ŠKODA has been at home on the international racing scene for the past 114 years. During that time, we’ve had some great success in motorsport. As the ‘Mecca’ of the tuning scene, the GTI Meeting is a great opportunity to share our racing passion with fans from all over Europe.”

The new ŠKODA Fabia R5 rally car will be driving up to Wörthersee almost directly from its first, highly successful racing appearance. Just three weeks ago, ŠKODA’s brand new racing car celebrated its dazzling world première with a triumphant victory at the opening of this year’s Czech Rally Championships. Now the Fabia R5 is being presented for the first time off the track to a wider public in Reifnitz (Kärnten). The designers have packed in a great number of high-tech features. The green-white-black-painted racing car is equipped with a 1.6-litre turbo engine compliant with FIA regulations. The drivetrain features a sequential five-speed gearbox, and MacPherson struts are used. As stipulated in the rules and regulations, it weighs the minimum 1230 kg. Top ŠKODA drivers were involved in the development of the new Fabia R5.

The ŠKODA Fabia R5 Combi rally show car being presented for the first time in Reifnitz will also be giving that real motorsport feeling. With its eye-catching, white, green and black finish, the vehicle certainly looks the part from the word go. The ŠKODA Fabia R5 Combi drives up on 18-inch alloys. At the front, the powerful bumpers and wide air intake testify to the car’s rallying ambitions. The wide contoured grille is finished in black, just as the wing mirror covers. Flared mudguards and powerful doorsills accentuate the model’s racy appearance. The rear sports a huge spoiler, as well as a giant rear bumper, and the wide exhaust pipe is positioned in the centre. Under the bonnet, you will find the 1.6-litre turbo engine from the ŠKODA Fabia R5 rally car.

Presented to the general public for the first time at Wörthersee – the ŠKODA FUNstar, a sassy pickup based on the ŠKODA Fabia. The emotive concept vehicle is the result of the second ‘ŠKODA Trainee Car’. This involved ŠKODA trainees creating their dream car: a small pickup with a real fun factor – not only in the name. The ŠKODA FUNstar stands out with its metallic colours steel-grey and moon-white. The sills, grille surround and the rear spoiler form a striking contrast in reflex-green. One special feature is the LED lights mounted below the sidebars. The duel-lens headlights also feature LED technology, with green LED light strips serving as daytime running lights. LEDs are also used in the rear lights. The ŠKODA FUNstar drives up on 18-inch ‘Gemini’ alloys from the Octavia RS. The engine is a 1.2 TSI petrol with 90 kW. The transmission features a modern seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The sporty look continues in the interior. Individual elements are also finished in the colours steel-grey and moon-white. It goes without saying that the students used one of the best sports steering wheels ŠKODA has to offer, and the 1400-Watt sound system offers a fantastic music experience.

A small car with sporty ambitions – the ŠKODA Fabia with Design package Red & Grey. The racy Fabia kitted out with ŠKODA genuine accessories is a real eye-catcher. The vehicle is finished in moon-white, with grey-red stripes running over the bonnet, roof and boot. Red Savio 17-inch alloys and red wing mirror covers as well as the sports package, which includes a front spoiler, side sills, rear diffuser, and a black grille roof spoiler highlight the dynamic appearance. The model also features tinted (SunSet) rear and side windows set in black. These sporty elements also continue to the interior.

ŠKODA’s emotive appearance at Wörthersee is complete with the new ŠKODA Octavia Combi RS 230. The racy ŠKODA special edition celebrated its acclaimed world premiere a few weeks ago. Its market launch is set for June. The ŠKODA Octavia Combi RS 230 scores with a racy design, sporty interior, modern technology and impressive power. This is also the first series-produced vehicle from to ŠKODA to feature an electronically controlled front-axle differential lock for particularly dynamic cornering. The ‘230’ designation refers to the horsepower of the new RS-special edition that features a 169 kW or 230 hp two-litre petrol engine. With the 2.0 TSI/169 kW (230 hp) engine combined with manual six-speed transmission, the Octavia Combi RS 230 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds, and can reach a top speed of 247 km/h, making the ŠKODA Octavia Combi 230 RS the fastest series-produced Octavia Combi of all time.

In addition to the sporty model highlights, ŠKODA will again be presenting a special kind of ŠKODA racing experience at Wörthersee. Visitors can take part in ‘ŠKODA’s Crazy Rally Ride’ – a special racing track next to the stands where contestants go head-to-head in mini racing cars.
