H SsangYong πιστή στο ραντεβού της, σε κάθε μεγάλη έκθεση μας παρουσιάζει νέο πρωτότυπο. Το όνομα του πρωτότυπου που θα μας παρουσιάσει στο Παρίσι είναι e-XIV concept, και πρόκειται για ένα plug-in υβριδικό πρωτότυπο B-segment CUV με το όνομα του να βγαίνει από τις λέξεις electric − eXciting user Interface Vehicle.
Διαθέτει έναν ηλεκτροκινητήρα ο οποίος τροφοδοτείται από μπαταρίες ιόντων λιθίου οι οποίες φορτίζουν είτε μέσω ενός μικρού βενζινοκινητήρα είτε με τα πάνελ στην οροφή. Έχει μήκος 4.160 mm, πλάτος 1.790 mm, 1.575 mm ύψος και 2.600 mm μεταξόνιο.

PARIS MOTOR SHOW 2012 – e-XIV CONCEPT – BY SSANGYONG
e-XIV (electric − eXciting user Interface Vehicle) is an EV concept within the SsangYong XIV design series, and a B-segment CUV (crossover utility vehicle). It is a ‘Range Extender EV’ electric car which is also self-chargeable by utilising a small petrol engine, thereby overcoming the issues of limited driving distance and battery charging infrastructure.
The dimensions of the e-XIV concept are: 4,160mm long, 1,790mm wide, 1,575mm high, and with a 2,600mm wheelbase. The glass roof provides enhanced visibility for passengers, while the roof mounted solar cell panels supply pollution free solar energy.
