H Renault εξετάζει την RS έκδοση του Clio Estate

Στο Παρίσι η Renault παρουσίασε την estate έκδοση του νέου Clio και σύμφωνα με τον Anthony Lo, επικεφαλή σχεδίασης της Renault, η γαλλική εταιρία εξετάζει το ενδεχόμενο να το περάσει στη παραγωγή ώστε να τεθεί απέναντι από το Fabia Wagon RS.

Στις σχετικές ειδήσεις, η Renault ανακοίνωσε ότι η προηγούμενη γενιά του Clio θα συνεχίζεται να πωλείται στην αγορά της Γαλλίας με το όνομα Clio Collection. Θα έχει αρχική τιμή 9.990 ευρώ και θα είναι διαθέσιμο με δύο κινητήρες, τον 1.200αρη βενζινοκινητήρα 75 ίππων και με τον dCi κινητήρα πετρελαίου απόδοσης 75 ίππων.,

Σε ότι αφορά την πολυτελή φίρμα που ετοιμάζει, αυτή θα ονομάζεται Initiale και ήδη ετοιμάζονται τα μοντέλα του νέου brand τα οποία θα βγούνε στη παραγωγή με τη βοήθεια της Mercedes.

Τέλος στόχος της Renault είναι να βελτιώσει την επόμενη γενιά του Megane έτσι ώστε να μπορεί αυτό να σταθεί απέναντι από τα νέα Γερμανικά αντίστοιχα μοντέλα. Ο Lο δήλωσε ότι η επόμενη γενιά του Megane δεν θα αλλάξει σημαντικά, αλλά θα διαθέτει καλύτερη αεροδυναμική και θα είναι ελαφρύτερο.

Clio III to continue its career alongside New Clio under the name ‘Collection’

• ‘Clio Collection’, the third-generation version of Renault’s city car will continue its career in the segment alongside New Clio, Modus and Twingo.
• Clio Collection will be available in a choice of two equipment levels (Alizé or Business) and two engines, the petrol 1.2 16V 75 and the diesel dCi 75.
• Prices in France will start from €9,990 and Clio Collection is made at Renault’s plant in Flins, near Paris.

The saga continues

With total sales of almost 2.4 million units since 2005, including more than one million in France, the third-generation of Clio – which will be known as ‘Clio Collection’ – rounds off Renault’s range in the city car segment, alongside Twingo, Modus and New Clio.

Two equipment levels will be available – Alizé and Business – while customers will be able to specify either the 1.2 16V 75 petrol engine or the dCi 75 diesel powerplant. Renault will continue to propose three- and five-door versions of Clio Collection.

Clio Collection is manufactured at Renault’s factory in Flins, near Paris, and, until March 2013, in Valladolid, Spain.
