Η MiTo φορά πλέον και τον 1.400αρη MultiAir turbo κινητήρα απόδοσης 140 ίππων ο οποίος συνδυάζεται με το αυτόματο κιβώτιο TCT. Έχει μέση κατανάλωση 5.4 λίτρα/100 χλμ και 124 γρ/χλμ εκπομπές CO2. Τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα τα κάνει σε 8,1 δευτερόλεπτα, έχοντας τελική ταχύτητα 209 χλμ/ώρα. Είναι διαθέσιμος μόνο στην έκδοση εξοπλισμού Distinctive και στην Ιταλία κοστίζει από 21.100 ευρώ.
Από την άλλη, η Giulietta θα μπορεί να παραγγελθεί και με τον 2,0-λιτρο JDTM turbodiesel απόδοσης 175 ίππων με 350 Nm ροπής. Και αυτός συνδυάζεται μόνο με το 6-άρι TCT αυτόματο κιβώτιο, με τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα να τα κάνει σε 7,8 δευτερόλεπτα, έχοντας τελική 219 χλμ/ώρα. Έχει μέση κατανάλωση 4,4 λίτρα/100 χλμ και εκπέμπει 116 γρ/χλμ CO2. Είναι διαθέσιμος στις εκδόσεις εξοπλισμού Distinctive και Exclusive και στην Ιταλία ξεκινά από τις 30.450 ευρώ (31.090 ευρώ στην Exclusive).

The new diesel engine is equipped with the second generation Multijet injection that allows you to optimize the combustion engine under all conditions of operation, while ensuring reduced fuel consumption and noise.

The innovative Alfa TCT
Both new motor MiTo and Giulietta Model Year 2014sono matched the innovative Alfa TCT automatic transmission and a sequential generation dual disc dry clutch . The transmission ensures driving comfort and a sporty feeling superior compared to conventional automatic transmissions , but with improved efficiency and lower fuel consumption .
Conceptually, ” Alfa TCT ” is composed of two programs in parallel: the even and odd gears are engaged on a different input shaft connected to each his own clutch . While the gear is inserted on one of the two transmission shafts , the second shaft not ” taken in ” is selected in advance the higher gear , the transmission is then performed in times extraordinarily rapid disengaging one clutch and engaging the other simultaneously . This gradual switch of the corresponding clutches ensures continuity of torque delivery and traction to the wheels.
