H Lexus αποκάλυψε και την μικρή έκδοση του νέου GS. Το GS 250 θα παρουσιαστεί στην έκθεση Guangzhou στη Κίνα και οι πωλήσεις του θα ξεκινήσουν το επόμενο καλοκαίρι. Μηχανικά φορά έναν V6 2.5-λίτρων κινητήρα απόδοσης 209 ίππων με 253 Nm ροπής. Συνδυάζεται με ένα 6-τάχυτο αυτόματο κιβώτιο με τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα να τα κάνει σε 8.6 δευτ. με τελική ταχύτητα 230 χλμ/ώρα. LEXUS UNVEILS THE NEW GS 250

On November 21, 10:30AM (local time) Lexus will debut the new luxury sedan GS 250 at the Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition.
The new GS 250 features a 2.5l V6 engine with D-4S direct and port injection, and Dual VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing-intelligent) to both intake and exhaust camshafts, enhancing engine performance.
It develops 154 kW/209 DIN hp at 6,400rpm and 253Nm of torque at 4,800rpm, accelerating the GS 250 from 0-100km/h in 8.6 seconds and giving a maximum speed of 230km/h. Fuel consumption is 8.9l/100 km, and CO2 emissions 207g/km.
The new 2.5 litre V6 is mated to Lexus’ ‘6 Super ECT’ close-ratio 6-speed automatic transmission, which features a sequential manual shifting mode. It incorporates numerous technologies including faster shift speeds, earlier torque converter lock-up and downshift throttle blips- to support the range of driving modes available through the Drive Mode Select system.
The new GS 250 will be available with the wide range of the innovative technologies applied to other GS models.
To ensure a high level of comfort and well-being of all vehicle occupants, the new GS 250 is not only more spacious, providing more head and leg room for front and rear occupants, but is also available with a range of cutting-edge technologies such as the next generation RTI (Remote Touch Interface) and the largest on-board multimedia 12.3’’ screen. The GS also features an efficient S-Flow air-conditioning system with nano-e air purifying technology, as well as a top-end Mark Levinson® audio system with up to 17 speakers.
Furthermore the new GS is characterised by improved driving dynamics thanks to its new bodyshell providing 14% improvement in body rigidity, combined with improved front and rear suspensions and an optimized driver’s seating position. All these changes make the new GS 250 more dynamic and agile. In addition, the driver can adjust the vehicle’s behaviour to the road conditions and his driving preferences by using the Drive Mode Select. He can choose between ECO, NORMAL and SPORT S mode. And for even more dynamic driving, SPORT S+ mode can be selected on GS 250 versions equipped with the Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS).
The new GS 250 also benefits from further enhancements in safety, thanks to the Advanced Pre-Crash Safety system (PCS) combined with the Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) as well as a series of other systems such as Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) and Lexus Night View.
The GS 250 will also be available with the F Sport package.
