Η Γερμανική Racing One βελτίωσε ένα Audi R8 V10 το οποίο μηχανικά κάνει τον 5.2-λίτρων κινητήρα να αποδίδει 610 άλογα χάρις στην τοποθέτηση της Akrapovic εξάτμισης τιτανίου και της επαναπρογραμματισμένης ECU. Τοποθέτησε επίσης Bilstein MDS αμορτισέρ, μεγάλα φρένα της Performance Friction και semi-slick ελαστικά. Στο εσωτερικό υπάρχουν 2 αγωνιστικά bucket καθίσματα, ζώνες ασφαλείας 6 σημείων και πυροσβεστήρας.
Το αυτοκίνητο διαθέτει και ένα σύστημα το οποίο μετρά διάφορα δεδομένα του αυτοκινήτου μέσω του CAN bus ενώ διαθέτει και 2 κάμερες. Όλες οι παραπάνω αλλαγές κοστίζουν 26.000 ευρώ.

FASCINATING V10 – RACING ONE MAKES IT POSSIBLE
The Bavarian mid-engine sports car is named after the Le Mans prototype Audi R8. It is produced by Quattro GmbH in Neckarsulm since 2006. The first study of a Le Mans Quattro dates back to 2003.
Racing one, motor sports service provider and event organizer from Rhineland, has helped an Audi R8 V10 – the stock version is certainly not insufficiently motorized – gaining a total of about 610 horse powers through discreet changes in hardware as well as systematic adjustment of the engine mapping. An exhaust system made of titanium, naturally flip-controlled by Akrapovic plays the role of communication with the outside world.
The running gear is equipped with 2-way MDS dampers from Bilstein Motorsport. In contrast, there are brake pads by Performance Friction Brakes in place, while the in-house brake cooling can be called a „borrowing” from the racing circuit. Bucket seats with 6-point belts, braces in the interior and a fire extinguisher are naturally included in this new version of Audi. The stickers of the racing one Audi R8 V10 were made at Cam Shaft Kempen, the green Porsche killer was resoled with semi-slicks. The rebuilding cost amounts to 26 000 euro.
It’s already known that the racing one is active in Motorsport. The team was significantly involved in the development of the Endurance Package for the Ferrari 458 Challenge which is why this car is also looked after by the professionals from Rhine in the current Long Distance Championship Nürburgring (VLN). The crew led by managing director Martin Kohlhaas also offers brand-independent vehicle preparation and driver trainings as well as organization for races and track days. Specialized car tunings for the race track are also made.
Many people dream of driving R8 with their own hands at least once in a lifetime. Racing one makes that possible as well! There is even a choice to be behind the steering wheel of the V10 on the race track or to just fulfill the dream as a passenger. The necessary R8 can be provided by racing one, whether with or without driver, both options are possible. Either way, another highlight is the data recording for later analysis via CAN bus as well as video recordings from two cameras that tape all that has happened.
