Ο γερμανικός οίκος DD Customs παρουσιάζει το βελτιωμένο πακέτο που έχει ετοιμάσει για την BMW X6 M. Το πακέτο φορά το bodykit της Hamann, ζάντες 22″, νέα πίσω φωτιστικά σώματα, μεγάλες διπλές κεντρικές απολήξεις, πλαϊνά skirts και διαχύτη σε μαύρο γυαλιστερό διαχύτη.
Στο εσωτερικό υπάρχουν carbon διακοσμητικά, δερμάτινες επενδύσεις ενώ στη πόρτα έχει τοποθετηθεί ένας LED προτζέκτορας στη πόρτα του οδηγού, ο οποίος προβάλει το λογότυπο της BMW στο έδαφος. Μηχανικά ο V8 4,4-λίτρων κινητήρας δεν έχει δεχτεί καμία αλλαγή και εξακολουθεί να αποδίδει 555 άλογα με 680 Nm ροπής. Τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα τα κάνει σε 4,7 δευτερόλεπτα έχοντας τελική ταχύτητα (ηλεκτρονικά περιορισμένη) στα 250 χλμ/ώρα.

The Tycoon
Even six years after its market introduction in spring 2008, the BMW X6 is quite literally unique on the roads: Just in time for the pending model change to the second generation of the Sport Activity Coupé and the market introduction of its little brother X4, increased numbers of pretest vehicle images started appearing online, suggesting that other premium manufacturers would soon follow suit. That’s hardly surprising. The X6, initially often ridiculed and scolded for its “political incorrectness” has developed into a real surprise success and image carrier – not in spite of but specifically because the air of unreasonability that it exudes. Of course, this is all outdone by the top series model X6 M with its 555 PS 4.4 litres V8 biturbo steam hammer. Its martial appearance can be designed much more extrovertedly, as DD Customs from Hamburg emphasizes based on the vehicle shown here: The powerful Tycoon wide-constructions kits from Hamann Motorsport and 22 inch light-metal wheels and carbon interior parts of the Upper Swabian high-end refiner form the basis on which the styling specialists of DD Customs have put a very special heavyweight sports car.
The Tycoon wide body modified by DD Customs makes the X6 M – not exactly very “slim” in the serial condition at 1.98 metres already – much wider still. Thanks to the extended mudguards and strong aprons, front and rear, the DD Customs-X6 appears like a professional bodybuilder posing on the stage. The strongly contoured Tycoon motor cowl and the front spoiler and outer mirror housing by Hamann Motorsport are made of super light carbon fibre fabric. DD Customs also refined the Hamann rear diffusor, entrance strips, door handles, roof railing and even the aerial fin on the roof with exposed carbon. The side sills were given a special technology gimmick: DD Customs integrated an underfloor lighting in them that projects four large BMW logos onto the asphalt on either side. At the rear, the avant-garde end tubes of the Hamann Motorsport EVO II end muffler draws all looks, emitting an awe-inspiring V8 thunder. The serial catalysers have also been replaced by high-end metal cats from HJS. Of course, this kind of XXL racing car can’t make do with “small” 20 inch rims. Instead, DD Customs chose 10.5×22 and 12×22-inch Hamann Anniversary Evo Black Line wheel rims in matte black for adequate filling of the wheel houses, covering them with extremely wide and ultra-flat Continental Sport Contact 5P rubber rolls in 295/30R22 and 335/25R22. DD Customs refined the passenger space of the large Sports Activity Coupé with a comprehensive Hamann Motorsport-carbon interior package.
In addition to various carbon fibre strips, the characteristically shimmering composite material decorates even the sports steering wheel and the automatic selection lever. The head rests of the front seats are newly covered with leather by the Hamann Motorsport saddler. The pedals and entrance lighting are also from the Hamann range. Additionally, the “basement” holds soft foot bats with DD Customs Logo embroidery.
