Μέχρι η Polestar να βγάλει στην αγορά το S90 Polestar με τα 600 άλογα, παρουσιάζει τα performance πακέτα των S90 και V90. Αυτά βελτιώνουν την απόκριση του γκαζιού και τις αλλαγές ταχυτήτων, ώστε τα αυτοκίνητα να παραδίδουν στους οδηγούς “μια πιο συναρπαστική εμπειρία οδήγησης“.
Οι αναβαθμίσεις καλύπτονται πλήρως από εργοστασιακή εγγύηση και δεν επηρεάζουν την κατανάλωση και τις εκπομπές ρύπων των μοντέλων. Αρχικά, performance πακέτο θα δεχτεί ο D5 κινητήρας, με το αντίστοιχο πακέτο για τον T6 να είναι διαθέσιμο από τον Οκτώβριο.

The new Polestar optimisation now available for the Volvo S90 and V90
The all-new Volvo S90 and V90 are now available for the new generation Polestar Performance Optimisation, adding even more driving pleasure and dynamism to the high base level of the new platform.

The S90 and V90 are cars that take the next step forward for premium performance and we are delighted to take that even further with the Polestar Performance Optimisation,” said Niels Möller, COO of Polestar, the Volvo Cars Performance Brand.
The new generation Polestar optimisation moves away from only including increased engine performance to now include the entire drivetrain.
By optimising throttle response, gearshift speed, off-throttle response, gearshift precision, alongside engine performance, a new level of active drivability is achieved.
The philosophy behind the new optimisation comes from the engineers and racing drivers of Polestar Cyan Racing.
“I am genuinely excited to work with the same technology for our race cars and the performance optimisation for road cars. We are able to work with the same philosophy to create a completely balanced package with usable performance in all conditions, no matter if it is about winning a race or driving actively on your favourite roads,” said Thed Björk, who drives a Volvo S60 Polestar TC1 with Drive-E technology in the FIA World Touring Car Championship.
The first S90 and V90 model available for optimisation is the D5, with the T6 to become available in October 2016*.
