Στην έκθεση CES στο Las Vegas, η Mercedes-Benz ανακοίνωσε ότι από την άνοιξη του 2013, το σύστημα Siri της Apple θα μπορεί να ενσωματωθεί στη νέα E-Class. Αρχικά υποστηρίζεται μόνο το iPhone 4S με το Siri να συνδέεται στο αυτοκίνητο με την εφαρμογή Digital DriveStyle App που ετοίμασε η Mercedes-Benz.
Το πακέτο ονομάζεται Drive Kit Plus και στο μέλλον θα είναι διαθέσιμο (θα μπορεί να αναβαθμιστεί δωρεάν) και η έκδοση Siri Eyes Free.

Las Vegas — While the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has opened its doors to trade visitors from all over the globe, Mercedes-Benz is showing a premiere of a special kind: the integration of Siri, Apple’s intelligent assistant that allows drivers to get things done just by asking, into the new E-Class for its drivers using iPhone 4S.
To use Siri while driving, you only need to connect your iPhone 4S to your Mercedes using the “Drive Kit Plus” option. Once connected, you have access to all the important content on your iPhone 4S right on the vehicle’s screen through the “Digital DriveStyle App” developed by Mercedes-Benz.
The Drive Kit Plus hardware and software will be available beginning spring 2013, so that Mercedes customers can use their iPhone 4S without taking their eyes off the road. A future version of the Drive Kit Plus option will support Siri Eyes Free mode.
