To VW Group ανακοίνωσε ότι τους πρώτους επτά μήνες του 2013 πούλησε 5,45 εκατ. αυτοκίνητα, παρουσιάζοντας αύξηση +5,1% σε σχέση με την αντίστοιχη περίοδο του 2012. Τον Ιούλιο πούλησε 757.700 αυτοκίνητα (+3,2%), ενώ από την αρχή του έτους στην Ευρώπη πούλησε 2,16 εκατ. αυτοκίνητα (-3,1%), στην Δυτική Ευρώπη (εκτός Γερμανίας) 1,12 εκατ. αυτοκίνητα (-2,6%), στη Γερμανία 678.900 αυτοκίνητα (-4,1%), και στη Κεντρική και Ανατολική Ευρώπη 365.400 αυτοκίνητα (-2,9%). Στη Ρωσία πούλησε 175.000 αυτοκίνητα (-2,9%).

Στην περιοχή Ασίας-Ειρηνικού πούλησε 2 εκατ αυτοκίνητα (+16,6%), με τα 1,79 εκατ. αυτοκίνητα (+18,5%) στη Κίνα, κάνοντας την, την μεγαλύτερη αγορά του ομίλου παγκοσμίως. Στην Ινδία πούλησε 56.600 αυτοκίνητα (-18,4%). Στη Βόρειο Αμερική πούλησε 512.600 αυτοκίνητα (+11,9%), με τα 356.800 (+10,1%) στις Η.Π.Α, ενώ στη Νότιο Αμερική πούλησε 523.500 αυτοκίνητα (-2,9%) με τα 386.300 (-9,2%) στη Βραζιλία.

Η Volkswagen πούλησε 3,38 εκατ. αυτοκίνητα (+3,7%), η Audi 911.800 αυτοκίνητα (+6,9%), η Porsche 95.296 αυτοκίνητα (+17%), η Skoda 534.300 (-5,5%), η Seat 212.100 (+12,1%) ενώ τα επαγγελματικά της VW 316.600 αυτοκίνητα (-0,2%). Volkswagen Group starts second half-year with rise in deliveries

Wolfsburg , 16 August 2013 – The Volkswagen Group grew worldwide vehicle deliveries from January to July by 5.1 percent, handing over a total of 5.45 (January – July 2012: 5.19)* million vehicles to customers. Group deliveries in the month of July ran at 757,700 (July 2012: 734,500; +3.2 percent)* units. “The positive trend in Volkswagen Group deliveries continued at the start of the second half-year – even though conditions on some markets were at times extremely challenging”, Group Board Member for Sales Christian Klingler said in Wolfsburg on Friday, and added: “However, the economic climate remains difficult.”

The Volkswagen Group delivered a total of 2.16 (2.23; -3.1 percent) million vehicles to customers on the overall European market in the first seven months. In Western Europe (excluding Germany), 1.12 (1.15; -2.6 percent) million customers took possession of a new vehicle. 678,900 (708,100; -4.1 percent) units were delivered in the home market of Germany. The Group handed over 365,400 (376,300; -2.9 percent) vehicles in Central and Eastern Europe in the period to July, of which 175,000 (180,100; -2.9 percent) units were delivered in Russia.

In the North America region, deliveries for the period to July increased by 11.9 percent to 512,600 (457,900) units, of which 356,800 (324,200; +10.1 percent) were handed over in the United States. The Volkswagen Group delivered 523,500 (566,500; -7.6 percent) vehicles to customers in the South America region during the same period, of which 386,300 (425,200; -9.2 percent) units were handed over to customers in Brazil.

Group figures for the Asia-Pacific region were once again encouraging. A total of 2.00 (1.72; +16.6 percent) million vehicles were handed over to customers there in the first seven months, of which 1.79 (1.51; +18.5 percent) million units were delivered in China, the region’s largest single market. In India, 56,600 (69,400; -18.4 percent) customers took possession of a new vehicle from the Group.

Outline of developments at Group brands

The Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand delivered 3.38 (3.26; +3.7 percent) million vehicles worldwide from January to July. Once again, the brand developed particularly well in China, where 1.36 (1.14; +18.9 percent) million vehicles were handed over to customers. In Mexico, 80,300 (67,300; +19.3 percent) customers took possession of a new Volkswagen.

Audi delivered 911,800 (852,800) vehicles worldwide in the period to July, an increase of 6.9 percent. The premium brand from Ingolstadt benefited inter alia from significant growth in China, where 269,900 (226,700; +19.0 percent) vehicles were handed over to customers. In addition, the brand grew deliveries in the United States by 13.6 percent compared with the same prior-year period to 87,300 (76,900) units.

The sports car manufacturer Porsche, which became a Volkswagen Group brand on August 1, 2012, delivered a total of 95,300 vehicles in the period to July. At 28,400 units, the Asia-Pacific region accounted for the largest share, with a further 27,700 units handed over to customers in the North America region. The company delivered 13,300 vehicles in the home market of Germany.

The ŠKODA brand delivered 534,300 (565,600; -5.5 percent) vehicles worldwide in the first seven months. The Czech carmaker handed over 134,900 (141,300; -4.6 percent) models in Western Europe (excluding Germany). 155,400 (167,300; -7.1 percent) vehicles were delivered in the Asia-Pacific region during the same period.

SEAT delivered 212,100 (189,200; +12.1 percent) vehicles worldwide in the period to July. The company handed over 175,000 (160,400; +9.1 percent) vehicles to customers on the overall European market. Developments in the German market were once again especially encouraging, with deliveries running at 44,800 (34,400) units, an increase of 30.1 percent.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles recorded stable development in the first seven months, delivering 316,600 (317,400; -0.2 percent) vehicles. 180,100 (193,700; -7.0 percent) vehicles were delivered to customers in Western Europe (excluding Germany) under difficult market conditions. In contrast, deliveries in the South America region developed well, with 89,500 (80,900; +10.6 percent) customers taking delivery of a new vehicle.
