Η Nissan παρουσίασε σήμερα το νέο της παγκόσμιο αυτοκίνητο, το ολοκαίνουργιο Note το οποίο θα ξεκινήσει τις πωλήσεις του στην Ιαπωνία από τον Σεπτέμβριο. Το αυτοκίνητο βασίζεται πάνω στο Invitation concept, διαθέτοντας αεροδυναμική σχεδίαση με κεκλιμένη γραμμή οροφής και έντονα νεύρα στα πλαϊνά.
Το εσωτερικό του δείχνει λιτό, με την κεντρική κονσόλα να είναι βαμμένη σε μαύρο γυαλιστερό χρώμα και να μπορεί να εξοπλιστεί με αυτόματο σύστημα κλιματισμού, GPS και Around View Monitor.
Στη Ιαπωνία θα είναι διαθέσιμο με τον 1.200αρη τρικύλινδρο κινητήρα σε ατμοσφαιρική (80 hp) και κομπρεσοράτη (98 hp) έκδοση, οι ίδιοι κινητήρες που υπάρχουν και στο Micra, οι οποίοι συνδυάζονται με μια νέας γενιάς XTRONIC CVT αυτόματο κιβώτιο, το οποίο συνεργάζεται με το σύστημα Start/Stop.
Στην Ευρώπη θα έρθει από τις αρχές του 2013, θα κατασκευάζεται στο εργοστάσιο της Nissan στην Αγγλία και εκτός από αισθητικές λεπτομέρειες θα διαθέτει και βελτιώσεις στο σασί.

YOKOHAMA (July 16, 2012) – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., today unveiled the Nissan Note, a new global compact car at a world premiere held at the Osanbashi venue in Yokohama.
With a goal of becoming the most user-friendly car in its segment, the new Note will explore the full potential of compact cars when it goes on sale in Japan this fall.
The Note achieves class-leading fuel efficiency and emission levels, combining advanced engine technology, a lightweight platform and improved aerodynamics.
The new hatchback includes Nissan’s advanced Around View Monitor (AVM) which is included for the first time in a compact car, helping to take the stress out of reversing and parallel parking in tight spaces.
The Note’s eye-catching exterior features a striking character line, known as the ‘Squash Line’, and an aerodynamic body shape while its distinctive front grille, headlamps and rear combination lamps combine to create a sense of dynamism and sophistication.
The revamped body structure enabled the Note’s designers to deliver a spacious interior that is beyond expectations for a car in this class. An expansive and inviting cabin includes a flowing line above the instrument panel, which?is inspired by ripples in sand, helps express the Note’s practicality and modernity as well as contributing to its high-quality interior.
Two new engines will be available to customers in Japan, including the new supercharged HR12DDR (DIG-S) and the HR12DE, which has received acclaim in the Nissan March.
Combining the compact, lightweight next-generation XTRONIC CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) for all grades with an Idling Stop System for 2WD, the newly-developed three-cylinder supercharged, direct injection DIG-S engine provides an enjoyable driving experience and excellent fuel efficiency, achieving class-leading*?economy of 25.2 km/L (on JC08 mode)*?.
A global success since its launch in 2005, Nissan has sold 940,000 units of the current Note.
The new Japanese-market Note will be manufactured at Nissan Motor Kyushu. Nissan’s Sunderland plant in the U.K. will produce models for Europe, which are planned for release in 2013.
Nissan’s all-new Note makes a splash at global launch party
July 16 – Yokohama – Nissan’s all-new Note hatchback made a big splash Monday night at a glitzy global premiere in Yokohama’s main pier district.
The Japan-market version of the car goes on sale this fall, with Nissan aiming to deliver a more attractive design and improved fuel economy.
A downsized but supercharged 1.2-liter engine provides power equivalent to a larger engine car – ensuring no watering down of performance or driving enjoyment, says Nissan Executive Vice President Andy Palmer.
“These [cars] really define on a day-by-day basis what the brand really stands for: innovation, excitement and, in this case, very much for everyone,” said Palmer.
“This is a very affordable motorcar, but on the other hand it represents the best of Nissan monozukuri.”
Other advanced features include Nissan’s breakthrough Around View Monitor technology, a first for a compact model that helps to take the stress out of parking in tight spaces.
Nissan Chief Creative Officer Shiro Nakamura says the Note’s exterior gives a more sporty appearance, while improved aerodynamics further add to the car’s fuel efficiency.
One of the keys of this car is its fuel-efficiency,” said Nakamura, speaking at the launch. “It is has a 1.2-liter super-charged engine. It’s class-leading fuel economy and of course low CO2 emission. This is very important.”
The new Note will be made in Kyushu, southern Japan, with European production set for the UK next year as Nissan aims to make waves in the fiercely competitive global hatchback sector.
