Tην ονόμασαν McLaren Mercedes SLR “7o7 Edition” και μηχανικά αποδίδει πλέον 707 άλογα με 915 Nm ροπής (626 hp – 780 Nm εργοστασιακές τιμές) χάρη στην τοποθέτηση κομπρέσορα και φυσικά στην νέα ρύθμιση της ECU. Τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα τα κάνει σε 3.5 δευτ. ενώ για να βελτιώσουν την οδηγική συμπεριφορά, τοποθέτησαν νέα ρυθμιζόμενη ανάρτηση της KW και ζάντες 20″ 6Sporz2 με ελαστικά Dunlop Sport Maxx διαστάσεων 255/30 μπροστά και 305/25 πίσω.

McLaren Mercedes “SLR 7o7 Edition” by wheelsandmore
Once again the leading luxury tuning company draws on plentiful resources and refines a super sports car on costumer´s option in an impressive manner. Already known for spectacular modifications on all AMG Mercedes models, Wheelsandmore didn´t even stop at the extremely rare MC Laren collaboration model. Although both manufacturers are going their separate ways since then, the SLR is already an absolutely classic, though technically antiquated. For this and also optical reasons the Wheelsandmore “Edition 7o7” requires further approach.
Even before the start button is pressed, the pilot is appreciated by knowing the impressive power of (460kw) 626 hp and 780 Nm of torque that the upcoming trip will go with damp palms only in progressive direction. Once the dust has settled, Wheelsandmore arrives at the conclusion that the nervous suspension setup needs a thorough overhaul.
With German suspension professionals KW Automotive, a compression and rebound adjustable, full race approved coilover with damper housings of strength aluminum alloy was developed and installed. Due to the characteristics matched to the car and the lowering of vehicle’s center of gravity, the projectile can be controlled much more precise.
Using a new suspension kit seems to be essential because of the enormous increase in output. Wheelsandmore took their SLR portfolio performance pack and installed beneath a larger compressor pulley an ecu upgrade. Result is a breathtaking power of 707 hp and 915 Nm of torque, a performance whose data are also reflected in the project name. The acceleration sprint from 0-100 km/h is done now within 3.5 seconds.
Significant and additional effect on the improved acceleration and power delivery are having the handcrafted, multi-piece forged wheels of the type 6Sporz² due to their weight-optimized properties.
Those high-end rims are filling out the carbon fiber bodywork perfectly sizing 9.0 x20″ at the front and sizing 11.5 x 20 inches at the rear axle. Highest quality standards are also elected with the 255/30/20 and 305/25/20 Sportmaxx tires from Dunlop. The customization options for all Wheelsandmore wheels are nearly unlimited, what is demonstrated with the carbon-look outside rims and the red outlines once more.
