H Citroen ανακοίνωσε την εκκίνηση των πωλήσεων του C3 e-HDI 70 Airdream EGS VTR+, το άκρως φιλικό προς το περιβάλλον C3 το οποίο εκπέμπει μόλις 87 γρ/χλμ και έχει μέση κατανάλωση 3.4 λίτρα/100 χλμ. Το αυτοκίνητο παρουσιάστηκε στην έκθεση Φρανκφούρτης τον περασμένο Σεπτέμβριο και μηχανικά φορά τον 1.400αρη πετρελαιοκινητήρα απόδοσης 70 ίππων. Στην Αγγλία έχει αρχική τιμή €15.290 και στον στάνταρ εξοπλισμό διαθέτει την μεγάλη πανοραμική οροφή.

INTRODUCING CITROËN’S LOWEST CO2 EMITTING DIESEL MODEL TO DATE: The new C3 e-HDi 70 Airdream EGS VTR+ at just 87g/km
Citroën has announced the introduction of its most CO2 efficient conventionally powered model to date – the new C3 e-HDi 70 Airdream EGS VTR+. With emissions of just 87g/km and combined cycle economy of 83.1mpg, this new version of the C3 supermini is now Citroën’s most fuel and CO2 efficient diesel powered car, ranking it amongst the very best in its class.
First displayed at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show in September, the highly specified e-HDi 70 Airdream EGS VTR+ is available to order from this month with an OTR MRRP of £15,290, complete with the C3’s renowned panoramic Zenith windscreen.
The new model uses Citroën’s innovative e-HDi micro-hybrid Stop & Start technology, combined with a refined and efficient 68hp HDi diesel engine, to deliver fuel economy of up to 88.3mpg in extra urban driving.
Jules Tilstone, Citroën UK’s Marketing Director, commented: “Citroën is committed to driving down the cost of motoring and this new model is a perfect example of that. With impressive fuel economy, low CO2emissions, a BIK rate at just 13%, free VED and the benefit of no London Congestion Charge, this stylish model is a financially and environmentally attractive addition to the Citroën range.”
Jules continued: “Underlining the brand’s firm environmental commitment, a full 50% of Citroën cars sold this year emit under 130g/km of CO2 and there has been a five-gram decrease in average CO2 emissions for the European range as a whole.”
