Στο Σάο Πάολο η Troller, μια θυγατρική της Ford, παρουσίασε τόσο το R-X Concept όσο και το νέο T4. Το R-X Concept θυμίζει κάτι από το μελλοντικό ξάδερφο του Jeep Wrangler και διαθέτει σώμα από fiberglass και LED φωτιστικά σώματα.
Το T4 2013 φορά έναν turbo 3,2-λίτρων κινητήρα απόδοσης 165 ίππων με 380 Nm ροπής και διαθέτει σύστημα τετρακίνησης με τρεις επιλογές : 4×2, 4×4 αργό και 4×4 γρήγορο.

TR-X Concept vehicle
Created in Ford Brazil’s Design Center, the Troller TR-X concept vehicle’s muscular shape conveys its strength to endure any type of terrain with style and determination. The concept vehicle has higher, longer bumpers which are perfectly integrated into the vehicle’s body. The hood, which features a raised central feature, conveys strength and virility. The front grill’s unique design is composed of different line patterns which contrast with the fiberglass body’s clean lines.
LED head lamps and tail lamps reflect the new, modern design. The TR-X’s flat green color evokes a connection with nature, which is the Troller’s native environment.
“We were trying to create a concept that symbolized the essence of Troller. It is a brand that is known for its tradition in the offroad world with the T4. We’ve replicated Troller DNA in the TR-X in this robust and stylish design,” said João Marcos Ramos, Ford Brazil’s Chief Designer.
Troller T4
The 2013 Troller T4 offers top performance with low emissions. It is powered by a 3.2-liter variable geometry turbocharged engine and offers maximum torque even at low rpm. The 165-horsepower motor generates 380 Nm of maximum torque and guarantees power to overcome any off-road obstacles. The engine uses EGR technology to reduce the amount of emissions through a catalytic particulate filter system and eliminates the need for additives.
It sports a new color scheme for the bumpers and front grill, which are now available in gray, silver or the same color as the folding top. Its strong composite body is rustproof and ensures durability in off-road terrain and streams.
The snorkel and steel skidplates now come standard in the 2013 model. The T4’s snorkel allows it to wade through depths up to 800 mm and protects the motor against eventual waves. The Troller T4 offers three types of traction: 4×2, 4×4 low and 4×4 high to endure any type of terrain.
