The new 2013 Jeep® Patriot Freedom Edition joins the previously announced Wrangler Freedom Edition as a tribute to United States (U.S.) military members past and present. Available in red, white or blue with exclusive military-inspired features, this limited edition Patriot model – with a starting U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $21,445 – is on sale now at Jeep dealership in the United States.
Jeep will donate $250 from each 2013 Jeep Patriot Freedom Edition it sells to charities that benefit U.S. Military members.
“We have created the 2013 Jeep Patriot Freedom Edition as a tribute to the brave men and women that have served, while acknowledging the Jeep brand’s renowned military history,” said Mike Manley, President and CEO – Jeep Brand, Chrysler Group LLC. “We express gratitude to those who have and are serving in the U.S. military, and in their honor we are donating $250 for each Patriot Freedom Edition sold to military charities.
“With segment-leading 4×4 capability, fuel economy up to 30 miles per gallon, and a unique inspiring appearance, the Jeep Patriot Freedom Edition is certain to appeal to consumers,” Manley added.
The limited edition Jeep Patriot Freedom model is based on the 2013 Patriot Latitude and is available in two- or four-wheel drive configurations. The 2013 Jeep Patriot Freedom Edition boasts many exclusive attributes not found on standard Patriot models.
The new 2013 Jeep Patriot Freedom Edition prominently features a military-inspired star on the hood, as well as on the rear quarter panel. Exclusive 17-inch high-gloss Mineral Gray painted aluminum wheels with bright lug nuts, a bright lower front fascia and an “Oscar Mike” (military jargon for “on the move”) badge on the lower front door round out the unique exterior features. The 2013 Jeep Patriot Freedom Edition is available in Deep Cherry Red crystal pearl coat, Bright White clear coat or True Blue pearl coat.
Standard features on the 2013 Jeep Patriot Freedom Edition include the standard features of the 2013 Jeep Patriot Latitude model plus a sunroof, Security and Cargo Group, all-season floor mats and on 4×4 models the All-weather Capability Group. Unique to the Jeep Patriot Freedom Edition is a Dark Gray “Cubic” cloth interior with vinyl bolsters and silver accent stitching and a black fabric “star” logo patch on the front seats.
The 2013 Jeep Patriot Freedom Edition has a starting U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggest Retail Price of $21,445 (excluding $995 destination).
The 2013 Jeep Patriot Freedom Edition is built at the Belvidere Assembly Plant in Belvidere, Ill., and is available in dealer showrooms now.
