Η AC Schnitzer παρουσίασε το βελτιωτικό της πρόγραμμα για την ανανεωμένη BMW 5-Series.
Εξωτερικά, ο Γερμανός βελτιωτής απέφυγε τις υπερβολές με αποτέλεσμα η BMW 5-Series Touring που βλέπεις στις φωτογραφίες ενώ είναι εμφανώς πιο sport και «άγρια» να παραμένει καλαίσθητη και «καθημερινή». Το αεροδυναμικό bodykit αποτελείται από εμπρός lip, ανασχεδιασμένες ποδιές και μία μικρή αεροτομή στο τελείωμα της οροφής. Προαιρετικά, μπορούν να προστεθούν τόσο ένα καπό με αεραγωγούς όσο και μία μικρή προσθήκη στον πίσω προφυλακτήρα. Επίσης, προσφέρονται: αναβαθμισμένο σύστημα πέδησης, sport εξάτμιση, ζάντες ελαφρού κράματος 18-21 ιντσών και kit χαμηλώματος που μειώνει την απόσταση από το έδαφος κατά περίπου 25mm.
Όσον αφορά τα μηχανικά, η 520d μπορεί να βελτιωθεί στα 218 άλογα ενώ η 525d μπορεί να φτάσει τα 258. Αν η τσέπη σας είναι πιο βαθιά και έχετε επιλέξει την 530d, η AC Schnitzer μπορεί να την κάνει να παράγει 309 άλογα και τέλος, η ιπποδύναμη της 535d έχει σκαρφαλώσει στα 360 άλογα (από 313). Έστω όμως ότι δεν έχετε αγοράσει diesel 5άρα. Ο βελτιωτής έχει λύσεις και για εσάς. Η 528i αποδίδει μετά τις αλλαγές 294 ίππους, η 535i 360 ίππους και η 550i παράγει 525 διόλου ευκαταφρόνητα άλογα.

The new 5 series LCI by AC Schnitzer celebrates its world premiere on the Essen Motor Show 2013
Once again, AC Schnitzer has developed a complete product range for this model which includes
performance upgrades, exhaust systems, wheel and tyre combinations, aerodynamic bodystyling
components and accessories for the interior.
More power is available for vehicles with diesel or petrol engines, in both rear-wheel and xDrive
variants. The range of performance upgrades is vast, giving extra power of between 34 and 93 hp
depending on basic engine.
Sports rear silencers made of stainless steel with chromed tailpipes provide the sonorous note.
And AC Schnitzer of course provides suitable combinations of wheels and tyres for the new 5-
series LCI series: alloy wheels in BiColor or silver, or forged racing rims in BiColor – what a choice
for the customer. Or you might prefer the totally new Type V forged alloys in 20″, which are a real
flyweight at just 11 kg.
A complete aerodynamic bodykit is also part of the AC Schnitzer special accessory range.
Aluminium accessories such as pedal sets and gear knobs – together with velours foot mats –
complete the range.
