Η νέα δημιουργία της Gray Design είναι το Vapour GT, ένα νέο φουτουριστικό όχημα το οποίο θα μπορούσε να κατασκευαστεί κατόπιν παραγγελίας. Είναι κατασκευασμένο πάνω στο σασί του Caterham SP/300.R με το σώμα του να είναι κατασκευασμένο από carbon.

Ζυγίζει λιγότερο από 900 κιλά, φορά τον ίδιο 2,0-λιτρο κινητήρα που φορά το SP/300.R, με τα 0-96 χλμ/ώρα να τα κάνει σε 3,2 δευτερόλεπτα. Το αυτοκίνητο θα κάνει ντεμπούτο σε ένα νέο videogame που θα κυκλοφορήσει σύντομα και θα είναι διαθέσιμο σε συσκευές Android και iOS.

CUTTING EDGES

The Vapour GT is a stunning piece of automotive design from Gray Design that is created to appeal to the most radical automotive enthusiasts. There is nothing modest about the styling, with every surface and detail screaming for attention, a flurry of wind sculpted edges and fury. It was created for the Zeus Twelve brand and in keeping in line with current trends, will feature in it’s own racing game that will be released on iPhone and Android platforms.

HEAVY BREATHER

The open design features strengthened glass aerofoils at the front and rear of the car as well as appearing in the side intakes and cockpit. The heavily breathing, lightweight 2.0-litre Supercharged Ford Duratec engine gets plenty of aspiration through the enormous air intakes at the front of the car as well as the scoops above the drivers head.

The lightweight carbon fiber construction based on the Caterham SP 300 R racing chassis means that with a curb weight of under 900kg, the Vapour GT can theoretically reach 60 mph in under 3.2 seconds.

What currently looks like vapourware is currently being presented to clients around the globe, and if in the rare event that an order is placed, the Vapour GT will be custom built by our team of automotive experts who have been involved in the development of the Bugatti Veyron and other extreme builds to guarantee that the driving experience will match the visual impact of the car.
