At first the C63 W205 AMG station wagon seems to be unimpressive, but most family fathers will smartly smile by thinking of driving it. Wheelsandmore from Baesweiler in Germany will transform this smart smile into a large open mouth with breathtaking emotions when accelerating their creation called “Star Track 6.8”
After 3.6s the sprint up to 100 km/h is part of the past and the top speed is limited at 300 km/h only because of tire limitation (depending on size and manufacturer).
476 hp and 650 nm are not the worst basis for a sporty family car. However, 680 hp and 820 nm are a clear challenge towards a thoroughbred sports car and this brute data are generated by the german luxury tuner due to extensive modifications to the 4.0 V8 bi-turbo engine from AMG. Larger turbochargers and downpipes, combined with sport catalysts and flap-controlled rear silencers in accordance with custom software ensure the ultimate driving pleasure with the subtle station wagon.
The upgrade is also available for the sedan and the coupe version of the Mercedes series W205. It is irrelevant to Wheelsandmore whether it was ordered as an ordinary 476hp or the priced up S variant with 510hp.
Emphasizes sporty is also the coilover made by KW, which is fully adjustable in compression and rebound. The firmer suspension and the lowering of the center of gravity ensures a perfect sporty handling and is the excellent choice as well for operation in everyday life as on the race track.
Larger and wider are also the mounted tires and rims. The station wagon version of the C63 AMG wears Wheelsandmore´s brand new forged F.I.W.E. wheels, discreetly coated in an elegant two-tone finish and providing an impressive look with maximum concave wheel centers and showing nice racing applications with the optical centerlock cover. On the steering axle the multipart wheels are rotating sizing 9,0×20 inch with tires 245/30/20 and on the driven axle in 10,0×20” with matching 265/30/20 tires made by Michelin.
