Through the use of their Bi-Tronik 2 V3 module with bespoke control parameters, G-POWER increase the output of the twin-turbo 3.0-litre straight-six from 431 hp (317 kW) to a whopping 600 hp (441 kW). This 169 hp power hike is accompanied by a commensurate rise in peak torque from 550 to 740Nm.

As G-POWER’s 600 hp goal was well beyond the capability of the OE turbochargers, the turbochargers were re-engineered with larger turbine and compressor wheels within CNC machined and gas flow optimised housings.

Despite being larger, these new turbine wheels are actually lighter, reducing inertia and improving throttle response. The greater efficiency also reduces exhaust gas temperatures, allowing higher boost pressure for more power.

Also contributing to the output increase are larger diameter exhaust downpipes without catalysts on the export-only version. This, and the lightweight titanium exhaust system with carbon-fibre encased tailpipe ends reduce back-pressure.

The dramatic increase in power and torque delivers a significant improvement in acceleration and top speed. The benchmark 0-100 km/h sprint is slashed to just 3.7 seconds, 0.5 sec faster than stock, and with recalibration of the electronic speed limiter to just over 320 km/h this pair are now genuine 200 mph supercar killers.

To balance the M3 and M4 chassis with their uprated engine G-POWER offers their GM4-RS coil-over suspension. Fully adjustable for bounce, rebound and ride height, this suspension system can be dialled in to optimise handling and grip while maintaining reasonable ride comfort.

The higher achievable top speeds gave rise to G-POWER’s motorsport inspired carbon-fibre aerodynamic component programme. Designed to reduce lift over both axles, the G-POWER ‘RS’ front spoiler, ‘CS’ front splitter, and ‘CS’ rear diffuser also help to give these cars their more purposeful look. The ‘CS’ boot mounted spoiler is exclusively for the M4 Coupe.

A set of G-POWER HURRICANE RR lightweight forged alloy wheels in 9.0×21 and 10.5×21 inch sizes, shod with 245/30R21 and 295/25R21 high performance tyres fills out the big arches and give the chassis more mechanical grip. The black finish on this five double-spoke wheel design perfectly complements the sporty, dynamic appearance of the M3 and M4 pairing.
