Η Ford στο Σάο Πάολο παρουσίασε την ανανεωμένη sedan έκδοση του Fiesta, το οποίο παρουσιάστηκε στην έκθεση του Παρισιού. Και αυτό διαθέτει τη νέα γρίλια της εταιρίας και στο εσωτερικό διαθέτει νέα κεντρική κονσόλα, νέο πίνακα οργάνων και νέα διακοσμητικά.
Η Ford έχει τροποποιήσει τον επιλογέα των ταχυτήτων ενώ έχει βελτιώσει την ανάρτηση, το σασί και το ηλεκτρονικό σύστημα διεύθυνσης. Στη Βραζιλία θα πωλείται με τον 1.600αρη flex-fuel κινητήρα με τις πωλήσεις του να ξεκινούν από το 2013.

Ford Reveals the All-New Fiesta Sedan at the São Paulo Auto Show in Brazil
SÃO PAULO, Brazil – On Monday, during a press conference of Ford Brazil at São Paulo International Auto Show, 700 journalists from Latin America and Europe met for the first time the New Fiesta Sedan. The new model is engaged to increase Ford’s design leadership in Latin America’s premium compact segment and strengthening Fiesta’s position as one of the world’s best-selling vehicles.
The 4-door sedan makes its global debut just weeks after the Fiesta hatchback models were revealed in Europe. The São Paulo Auto Show is Latin America’s largest and is expected to draw approximately 700,000 visitors between Oct. 24 and Nov. 4.
“Brazil is one of the largest markets in the world and Ford has a strong presence in this market where compact vehicles are predominant. The new Fiesta is a leader in design, safety and technology in this segment in Brazil, which is why Ford chose this show for the global debut of the sedan,” said Steven Armstrong, Ford Brazil president.
The harmonious and bold appearance of the redesigned Fiesta is accentuated with Ford’s new design language. In addition to the large front trapezoidal grille, which is a signature of the brand’s new global family, the striking front end is dominated by new sophisticated head lamps and a hood sculpted with two lateral lines. These changes give the car a more sporty, robust and modern appearance and at the same time, highlight new levels of detail and quality.
Ford’s design and ergonomics specialists also improved the interior, adding new displays, a new central console with armrest plus new trim. The gear shifter position was adjusted to offer more comfort and sportiness.
Ford added new components to the chassis and to the suspension to perfect the Fiesta’s driveability and refinement, and recalibrated the electronic power assist steering system. With this, the vehicle which is already known for being fun to drive and for its excellent performance is now more dynamic and sportier than ever.
Benchmark in premium compacts
In 2010, the Fiesta was the first car from Ford’s global small car family to be launched in Brazil. Built on a new platform, it was designed to be a benchmark in design, safety, quality, drivability and efficiency, in addition to being the most affordable in the premium compact segment.
In Brazil, it was the first vehicle in the segment to offer 7 airbags, among other items, and first to introduce popular driver-assist resources, such as traction control and Hill Launch Assist, and the SYNC multimedia system.
Every element of the new Fiesta has been developed to provide a safe, efficient and high-quality driving experience. From the stable, comfortable chassis and sophisticated electronic-assisted power steering to the economical1.6-liter, four-cylinder flex fuel engine, every system is true to the dynamic Ford DNA.
All of these attributes are improved in the redesigned model, which represents a new step in the car’s successful history and constant evolution. The Fiesta broke the mold with the launch of the first version in 1976, at a time when fuel economy was a priority for most people. It proved that despite being a small and economical, it was a beautiful, practical and advanced car.
