Δουλειά της a-workx δεν έχουμε ξαναδεί. Είμαι και αυτή Γερμανική και έχε μεγάλη εμπειρία σε αγώνες ταχύτητας στα πρωταθλήματα FIA GT, Porsche Carrera Cup και ADAC GT Masters. Έτσι αποφάσισαν να παρουσιάσουν την BMW M3 460cs, μια βελτιωμένη Μ3 E92 που αποδίδει 460 άλογα, αφού στόχος του ήταν να περάσουν τα 450 άλογα της M3 GTS.
Μηχανικά ο 4.0-λιτρος V8 ατμοσφαιρικός φόρεσε νέους εκκεντροφόρους, carbon φιλτροκούτι με ελεύθερο φίλτρο αέρα και Akrapovic Evolution εξάτμιση τιτανίου, η οποία είναι κατά 24 κιλά ελαφρύτερη από την εργοστασιακή και φυσικά επαναπρογραμματίστηκε η ECU. Έτσι η ιπποδύναμη αυξήθηκε κατά 40 άλογα και για να την περνά στο δρόμο φόρεσε και μπλοκέ διαφορικό της Drexler.
Επίσης φόρεσε KW Clubsport αναρτήσεις και νέες ελαφριές ζάντες 19″ ATS Superlights (ζυγίζουν 15 κιλά λιγότερα από τις εργοστασιακές) με ελαστικά Michelin Pilot Sport Cup διαστάσεων 235/35 μπροστά και 265/30 πίσω.
Τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα τα κάνει σε 4.1 δευτ (4.8 εργοσ. τιμή), τα 0-200 χλμ/ώρα σε 13.2 δευτ (15.7 εργοσ.τιμή) και στην μικρή διαδρομή του Hockenheim, γυρνά σε 1:11.9, 6 δευτερόλεπτα γρηγορότερα από την BMW M3 GTS.
Φυσικά φόρεσε και μεγάλα φρένα της MOV ‘IT CER με carbon κεραμικούς δίσκους 380 mm μπροστά και 380 mm πίσω με 6-πίστονες δαγκάνες μπροστά και 4-πίστονες πίσω. Και αν τα 460 άλογα δεν είναι αρκετά, σε λίγο καιρό ετοιμάζουν και μια δυνατότερη έκδοση που θα αποδίδει 600 άλογα με την προσθήκη κομπρέσορα.
