H Nissan Αμερικής ανακοίνωσε την ανάκληση 33.880 Rogue (λέγε με X-Trail) εξαιτίας ενός προβλήματος στο λεβιέ ταχυτήτων. Αυτός θα μπορούσε να βγει από τη θέση “Park” χωρίς να είναι πατημένο το πεντάλ του φρένου, όπως συνήθως απαιτείται, κάτι που θα μπορούσε να κάνει το αυτοκίνητο να κλαπεί πιο εύκολα, ή να κυλήσει απροειδοποίητα. Όλα τα Rogue είναι κατασκευασμένα φέτος στο εργοστάσιο στη πόλη Smyrna, της πολιτείας του Tennessee από τις 10 Φεβρουαρίου μέχρι τις 13 Μαΐου.
H Hyundai από τη μεριά της προχωρά στην ανάκληση 10.800 Genesis Coupe παραγωγής μεταξύ 28 Δεκεμβρίου 2011 και 6 Απριλίου 2015 και συνδυάζονται με το 6-τάχυτο μηχανικό κιβώτιο. Στα επηρεαζόμενα αυτοκίνητα το διαφορικό θα μπορούσε να χάσει την ευθυγράμμιση του με την τραβέρσα της πίσω ανάρτησης, κάτι που θα οδηγήσει στο χαλάρωμα των βιδών, και που ίσως τελικά οδηγήσει στην αποσύνδεση του ημιαξονίου.

SUMMARY:
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain model year 2015 Rogue vehicles manufactured February 10, 2015, to May 13, 2015. In the affected vehicles, due to a problem with the shift selector knob, it may be possible to shift out of the “Park” position without depressing the brake pedal. As such, these vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 114, “Theft Protection and Rollaway Prevention.”
CONSEQUENCE:
If the shift selector can be moved out of the “Park” position while the brake pedal is not depressed, the vehicle may unexpectedly roll, increasing the risk of a crash.
REMEDY:
Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the shift selector knob, as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in December 2015. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-647-7261.

SUMMARY:
Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 Genesis Coupe vehicles manufactured December 28, 2011, to April 6, 2015, equipped with manual transmissions. In the affected vehicles, if the differential and the suspension rear crossmember were not properly aligned during vehicle assembly, the bolts that secure the differential may loosen.
CONSEQUENCE:
If the rear differential loosens from its mounting position, the driveshaft may disconnect from the differential, resulting in a loss of propulsion and an increased risk of a crash.
REMEDY:
Hyundai will notify owners, and dealers will verify the proper assembly of the differential, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on January 11, 2016. Owners may contact Hyundai’s customer service at 1-855-671-3059. Hyundai’s number for this recall is 135.
