Η επίσημη βελτιωτική εταιρεία της Volvo, η Heico Sportiv, παρουσίασε το νέο πακέτο αναβάθμισης της για τα S90 και V90, που το ονομάζει e.motion.
Αυτό αφορά τα μοντέλα που εφοδιάζονται με τον D5 κινητήρα, ο οποίος με το e.motion πακέτο αποδίδει πλέον 258 άλογα και 520 Nm, μια αύξηση 23 ίππων και 50 Nm, σε σχέση με τις εργοστασιακές τιμές. Η Heico δεν ανακοίνωσε πόσο γρηγορότερα έγιναν τα αυτοκίνητα, αλλά αναφέρει ότι ο οδηγός βλέπει μια αισθητή βελτίωση στις μεσαίες και υψηλές στροφές του κινητήρα.
Η εταιρία θα προσφέρει στο μέλλον μια ποικιλία αναβαθμίσεων για τους D4, T5, T6 και T8 κινητήρες. Έκτος από την αύξηση της ιπποδύναμης η εταιρεία έχει διαθέσιμη μια sport εξάτμιση, βελούδινα πατάκια και ζάντες αλουμινίου 20-ιντσών. Οι πελάτες μπορούν να παραγγείλουν ένα αναβαθμισμένο εσωτερικό με ακριβό δέρμα, που φτιάχνεται στην Αυστρία.

Most Powerful Diesel In The New Volvo S90 And V90 Supplied By HEICO SPORTIV
Weiterstadt – More power, more brawn. The result: sheer driving pleasure – this is the claim of e.motion® performance enhancement for the new Volvo S90 and V90 D5. After its power regimen, the Drive-E diesel engine generates a whopping 190 kW (258 hp) and an enhanced 520 Nm torque. With this, HEICO SPORTIV again spearheads the league for reputable tuning suppliers for Volvo automobiles.
Besides the perceptible extra 17 kW (23 hp) power and 40 Nm torque, HEICO SPORTIV’s engineers’ development goal was above all to achieve harmonious and perceptible power development at medium and high engine speeds. This characteristic augments Volvo’s recently developed PowerPulse technology which provides for better acceleration from standstill at lower engine speeds. The result: supreme road performance at all engine speeds, significantly improved acceleration values both from standstill and in-gear, and a higher top speed.
HEICO SPORTIV’s e.motion® performance enhancements are installed at authorized contracted Volvo dealerships (HEICO SPORTIV Premium and Service Partners) and have no impact on the emission classifications or prescribed service and maintenance intervals. The included guarantee covers up to 60 months (or a maximum of 150,000 kilometers) from the initial registration and its scope and settlement are oriented towards the Volvo Manufacturer Guarantee. Straightforward “Plug & Ride” assembly allows quick installation of e.motion®, which also supports online programming, diagnostics and updates. An expert appraisal for entry in the vehicle documents is naturally supplied at no additional cost.
The D5 e.motion® engine tuning program for the new Volvo models will be available at a cost of EUR 2,425.00 from September for the S90, and, to coincide with the market launch, from October for the V90. Further performance enhancements for the D4, T5, T6 and T8 will follow shortly.
