Η Chrysler έδωσε στην δημοσιότητα τις πρώτες λεπτομέρειες και φωτογραφίες από το ολοκαίνουργιο 200 Convertible. Στην ουσία πρόκειται για το ανανεωμένο Sebring και διαθέτει νέους προφυλακτήρες, επανασχεδιασμένα φωτιστικά σώματα, νέα γρίλια, LED πίσω φωτιστικά σώματα ενώ στο εσωτερικό έχουν χρησιμοποιηθεί καλύτερα υλικά και έχει τοποθετηθεί νέο τιμόνι με τον πίνακα οργάνων να έχει επανασχεδιαστεί.
Το αυτοκίνητο είναι διαθέσιμο είτε με μαλακή είτε με σκληρή αναδιπλούμενη οροφή που και στις δύο περιπτώσεις ανοίγει αυτόματα με το πάτημα ενός κουμπιού.
Από μηχανικής πλευράς, το αυτοκίνητο θα φορά τους ίδιους κινητήρες με την sedan έκδοση. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι υπάρχει ένας τετρακύλινδρος 2.4 λίτρων απόδοσης 175 ίππων με 225 Nm ροπής. Διαθέσιμος είναι επίσης και ο Pentastar V6 3.6 λίτρων απόδοσης 283 ίππων με 353 Nm ροπής. Και οι δύο κινητήρες συνδυάζονται με 6-τάχυτο αυτόματο κιβώτιο. Στην Αμερική το Chrysler 200 Convertible θα είναι διαθέσιμο σε 3 επίπεδα εξοπλισμού Touring, Limited και S.
Στην Ευρώπη, το αυτοκίνητο θα είναι διαθέσιμο ως Lancia Flavia αφού ο CEO της Fiat και Chrysler, Sergio Marchionne, το επιβεβαίωσε στο AutoNews με πρόσφατες δηλώσεις του. Επίσης η νέα Thema στην ουσία θα αποτελεί την Ευρωπαϊκή έκδοση του Chrysler 300 ενώ θα υπάρχουν και τα αντίστοιχα μοντέλα Chrysler Town και Country.
Ντεμπούτο της Αμερικάνικης έκδοσης θα γίνει στην έκθεση του Σικάγο ενώ η Ευρωπαϊκή έκδοση θα παρουσιαστεί τον Μάρτιο στη Γενεύη.
