Η Jaguar το ΣΚ θα παρουσιάσει στο Goodwood την F-Type prototype. Το πρωτότυπο θα οδηγείται από τον Mike Cross, με την επίσημη παρουσίασή του να έχει προγραμματιστεί για τον Σεπτέμβριο στην έκθεση του Παρισιού, ενώ οι πωλήσεις του θα ξεκινήσουν από τα μέσα του 2013.
Με την F-Type η Jaguar έχει μεγάλες προσδοκίες. Αποτελεί την έκδοση παραγωγής του πρωτότυπου C-X16,και αρχικά θα είναι διαθέσιμο με cabrio με υφασμάτινη αναδιπλούμενη οροφή ενώ αργότερα θα κυκλοφορήσει και σε coupe έκδοση. Μπορεί να μεταφέρει 2 επιβάτες, είναι κατασκευασμένη από αλουμινένιο και μηχανικά θα φορά τον νέο V6 3.0-λίτρων κινητήρα απόδοσης 380 ίππων με 460 Nm ροπής και τον κομπρεσοράτο V8 κινητήρα των 5.0-λίτρων απόδοσης 542 ίππων.

F-TYPE JAGUAR PROTOTYPE MAKES PUBLIC DEBUT AT GOODWOOD
A development prototype example of Jaguar’s new sports car, the F-TYPE, is set to make its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Utilising Jaguar’s industry-leading knowledge of all-aluminium construction, the F-TYPE will launch as a two-seater convertible with the focus uncompromisingly on delivering driver reward.
The F-TYPE will be driven up the famous Goodwood Hill by Jaguar’s Head of Vehicle Integrity, Mike Cross.
Powered by a supercharged V6 or V8 engine, the F-TYPE is currently undergoing development prior to going on sale mid-2013. Taking on the most challenging roads, extremes of temperature and the harshest environments, the F-TYPE is being thoroughly tested ahead of its launch.
