H Subaru έδωσε νέες teaser φωτογραφίες των ΒRZ Concept και XV που θα παρουσιάσει στη Φρανκφούρτη. To BRZ Concept είναι η μετεξέλιξη του Boxer Sports Car Architecture που είδαμε στη Γενεύη τον περασμένο Μάρτιο. Το αυτοκίνητο είναι η κοινή προσπάθεια που έχει κάνει με την Toyota και θα φορά τον ολοκαίνουργιο ατμοσφαιρικό 2.0-λιτρο τετρακύλιδρο Boxer της Subaru που διαθέτει την D-4S τεχνολογία της Toyota. Η τεχνολογία D-4S συνδυάζει άμεσο ψεκασμό με ψεκασμό στην εισαγωγή των βαλβίδων.
Η Subaru στο σημερινό δελτίο τύπο μας αποκαλύπτει τις διαστάσεις του. Έχει μήκος 4.200 mm, πλάτος 1.770 mm, ύψος 1.270 mm και μεταξόνιο 2.570 mm. Το χαρακτηρίζει ως state-of-the-art σε ότι αφορά τεχνολογικά και μπορεί να προσφέρει “καθαρή οδηγική απόλαυση”
Ο κινητήρας θα συνδυάζεται με δύο 6-τάχυτα κιβώτια, ένα μηχανικό και ένα αυτόματο με paddles στο τιμόνι. Εκτός αυτού, το πισωκίνητο αυτοκίνητο θα διαθέτει και διαφορικό περιορισμένης ολίσθησης και έχει κατασκευαστεί πάνω στην νέα front-engined, rear-wheel drive πλατφόρμα της Subaru που παρουσιάστηκε στη Γενεύη τον περασμένο Μάρτιο.
Οι πωλήσεις του έχουνε προγραμματιστεί να ξεκινήσουν την άνοιξη του 2012. Μάλιστα η Subaru έχει ετοιμάσει και ένα teaser site για το αυτοκίνητο.
Σε ότι αφορά το XV, αυτό είναι η έκδοση παραγωγής του XV, την crossover έκδοση του Impreza. Βασίζεται πάνω στο πρωτότυπο Subaru XV Concept που είχε παρουσιαστεί στην έκθεση της Σανγκάη τον περασμένο Απρίλιο και η Subaru δηλώνει ότι η έκδοση παραγωγής θα έχει ελάχιστες διαφορές από το πρωτότυπο.
Το αυτοκίνητο θα φορά έναν νέο τετρακύλινδρο Boxer DOHC κινητήρα 2.0-λίτρων (τον ίδιο με αυτό που φορούσε το πρωτότυπο) ο οποίος συνδυάζεται με το αυτόματο κιβώτιο συνεχώς μεταβαλλόμενων σχέσεων Lineartronic.
Η Subaru μας έδωσε και τις διαστάσεις του XV το οποίο έχει μήκος 4.450 mm, πλάτος 1.780 mm, ύψος 1.570 mm και μεταξόνιο 2.635 mm. Θα είναι τετρακίνητο, θα τοποθετηθεί στην C κατηγορία ως ένα Urban Adventure Crossover όχημα και θα διαθέτει και στο σύστημα Subaru Dynamic Chassis Control το οποίο θα κάνει το XV απίστευτα ασφαλή κατά την οδήγηση.

Exhibition Outline of the 64th Frankfurt Motor Show
