Η Sportec θα παρουσιάσει στη Γενεύη και το το βελτιωμένο Audi RS3 Sportback το οποίο πλέον μπορεί να αποδώσει έως 500 άλογα. Μόνο με πρόγραμμα και νέα ανοξείδωτη εξάτμιση, ο 2.5-λιτρος TFSI μπορεί να αποδώσει 408 άλογα με 550 Nm ροπής (68 άλογα και 100 Nm περισσότερα από την εργοστασιακή τιμή) ενώ για όσους δεν τους αρκούν τα νούμερα αυτά, τότε η εταιρία μπορεί να κάνει το RS3 να αποδώσει έως 500 άλογα με 625 Nm ροπής ,με τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα να τα κάνει σε 3.9 δευτερόλεπτα με τελική ταχύτητα 302 χλμ/ώρα. Επίσης τοποθετεί σε αυτό, ρυθμιζόμενες αναρτήσεις, ζάντες 20″ αλλά και μεγάλα φρένα της Movit.

Sportec Audi RS3: Big-Game Hunting in Switzerland

Under normal circumstances a compact car with 340 PS would not be classed as being underpowered – but when, however, the name Sportec comes into play and the base vehicle is an Audi A3 then one can confidently regard this performance as a nice starting point. The diamond only appears after the Swiss fine smiths have added their final touches. Although no jeweller is employed at Sportec after the firm’s electronic experts have worked their magic a biting 405 PS and 550 Nm appear under the bonnet of this compact fast car.  In the export version even 500 PS can be let loose on the respective roads.

Equally performance promoting – and just as melodious – is Sportec’s stainless steel, valve controlled sports exhaust system. So that so much power can be applied to the road the fine tuner offers a coil over suspension with sportier tuning and a lowering of 20-40 millimetres. Added to this there are light 20 inch aluminium wheel rims in Mono/10 design that find new and very handsome surroundings in the professionally widened wheel arches with specially adapted bumper. The car thus appears more sporty and compact – without losing the touch of understatement so favoured by Sportec.

Sportec’s large modified braking system on the front and rear axles round off the whole package for this compact fast car and also guarantees the desired delay even for sporty driving. Particularly exclusive is the Haldex Performance unit offered by Sportec that amongst other things can send more power to the rear axle of the four-wheel drive car. By simply pushing a button on the remote control the customer can choose the type of performance for himself. This not only gives the Sportec RS3 power but also the necessary flexibility to optimally apply these to the tarmac. Thus professionally equipped one can go “hunting big game” with pleasure.
