H Hyundai, στην έκθεση της Μόσχας θα παρουσιάσει το Equus Limousine Security, ένα θωρακισμένο Equus το οποίο έχει κατασκευαστεί σε συνεργασία με την ArmorTech. Το αυτοκίνητο έχει μήκος 5,46 μέτρα και ζυγίζει 3.840 κιλά. Διαθέτει επίπεδο προστασίας VR7 με αλεξίσφαιρα τζάμια και ειδικές λαμαρίνες που προστατευτούν τους επιβάτες από επιθέσεις με όπλα.
Διαθέτει μια επιπλέον μπαταρία, ενισχυμένους μεντεσέδες, σύστημα πυρόσβεσης στον κινητήρας, υδραυλικά σύστημα ανύψωσης παραθύρων, run-flat ελαστικά, σύστημα ενδοεπικοινωνίας και σύστημα προστασίας του ρεζερβουάρ με σύστημα αυτοπροστασίας που αποτρέπει την διαρροή.
Μηχανικά φορά τον 5,0-λιτρο Tau V8 κινητήρα απόδοσης 430 ίππων με 509 Nm ροπής. Συνδυάζεται με ένα 8-τάχυτο αυτόματο κιβώτιο το οποίο στέλνει την κίνηση στους πίσω τροχούς.

Hyundai Equus Limousine Security is an armoured limousine with 5,46 meters total length and 3840 kg unladen weight, developed and built with the cooperation andtechnical support of Hyundai Motor Company. This vehicle incorporates an elaborate range of upgraded features specially designed for exclusive stretched limousine with ballistic and blast protection.
The complex armouring process without compromising on any of the OEM intentions ensures the base car exterior to be unchanged. Armoured “shell” is designed to fully protect the interior from ballistic penetration from any angle.
Potentially critical areas where the glass is connected to the body components as well as door gaps have special “labyrinth” overlaps protecting the passengers inside from blast projectiles and splinters.
This luxurious limousine is equipped with the latest 5.0-liter Tau® V8 engine. Maximum output of this fabulous power plant is additionally increased to a 430 bhp comparing to the standard car, which allows to keep the original dynamics and agility of the armoured limousine with increased weight without sacrificing in comfort. The car is offered with full specs and all additional options available to Hyundai Equus premium-class saloon.
Hyundai Equus Limousine Security fully complies with VR7 protection level according to directives BRV1999 ? CEN 1063/1522/1523 for the whole vehicle: as for opaque and for transparent protected areas. The limousine is ballisticaly certified to the protection level and has been passed all related tests conducted by the Beschussamt Mellrichstadt certification body in Germany.
First European presentation of the armoured Hyundai Equus Limousine Security will be at Moscow International Automobile Salon 2012 (MIAS 2012) from 31 August to 9 September at Hyundai Motor exhibition booth, 2 pavilion, 5 hall.
