Η Scion Racing στο φετινό Pikes Peak International Hill Climb θα συμμετάσχει με 3 αυτοκίνητα. Το πρώτο είναι το FR-S βελτιωμένο από την Evasive Motorsports το οποίο θα οδηγηθεί από τον Robert Walker και θα τεθεί απέναντι από τα υπόλοιπα αυτοκίνητα της Unlimited κατηγορίας. Φορά έναν 2,5-λίτρων turbo κινητήρα απόδοσης 365 ίππων με 517 Nm ροπής με τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα να τα κάνει σε περίπου 3,8 δευτερόλεπτα.
Το δεύτερο είναι το xD rally και θα οδηγηθεί από τον Andrew Comrie-Picard, ενώ στην ίδια κατηγορία (Time Attack) θα υπάρχει και το GReddy tC το οποίο θα οδηγηθεί από τον Takeshi Aizawa. Το xD rally φορά τον turbo 1.800αρη κινητήρα απόδοσης 265 άλογα με 358 Nm ροπής με τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα να τα κάνει σε περίπου 4,3 δευτερόλεπτα.

Scion Racing Returns to Tackle Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Three Drivers Take on the 12.42 Mile Course; First Time Visit for the FR-S
TORRANCE, Calif. (June 27, 2013) — Scion Racing will make its second appearance at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on June 30, with the FR-S debuting for its first race up the 14,110 foot summit in Colorado Springs, Colo. Now in its 91st year, the iconic and highly competitive event takes drivers up a 12.42-mile course with 156 turns to the top of Pikes Peak.
Driver Andrew Comrie-Picard will be in the Scion Racing Rally xD, and Takeshi Aizawa will be piloting the GReddy tC, both making their second trips up the mountain. Driver Robert Walker is a rookie to Pikes Peak and will be behind the wheel of a FR-S built by Evasive Motorsports. All three Scion vehicles have been modified for added safety and increased performance. Comrie-Picard and Aizawa will be competing in the Time Attack class, while Walker will be racing in the Unlimited class.
